I am a purple belt in Jiu-jitsu. I have personally been in a situation like this years ago. My dojo was coed and in my 1st year as a white belt, I was made to spare with multiple blue belts before I was ready for my belt ceremony. 1 of our blue belts was a girl. She was my age and she was skilled, very close to stepping up to purple. I told our sensei that I wasn't okay sparing with her because I didn't want to hurt her. She was insulted by what I said and said I was scared to lose to a girl. I told her I was only scared of hurting her and that I don't ever fear losing to anyone because there's ALWAYS someone out there better than you. So I spared with her and her skill over me was the only reason the match lasted more than a min. She got in a couple good holds and I literally just pulled her off of me. I finally landed a rear naked on her and she tapped out. The worst part was that all she could do was be angry about losing rather than learning from the experience.

@@strikebr Indeed, exceptions definitely do not make the rule. Cherry picking examples of women at the top of the women's division in their sport going up against average guys that may not have even participated in the sport before is certainly not an accurate test or proof of anything. A true test would be a top woman in her sport competing against a guy that is top in that sport. It's an almost foregone conclusion that the guy will dominate in the match.
Frankly, it's just amazing the delusion of these women to think they can challenge guys in areas where men clearly excel and who always will due to genetic and biomechanical differences that give men commanding advantages. This is feminism, entitlement and "empowerment" run amuck that's for sure.

That's the scary part. These women have no idea of the power of a man physically, especially in a rage. I'm female. I've always been a great athlete. One of the better female athletes and physically in shape but I stand no chance against a male physically. Not only do females not stand a chance but the physical power of a man can snatch her life away within seconds if he really intended to. I mean it's scary that there are really women out here that think they can physically out perform a man in any case. It's absurd

I'm a woman and I don't think these men should hold back at all. They want to challenge a man but want the man to go easy on them. Similar to how women want to be firemen, policemen, in the military, yet cannot train the traditional way so they need altered courses to accommodate them. You see these small women as cops who always need the help of male cops to help them take a big guy down. Nuff said...

I am totally against women being in a combat position in the military. They are nothing but a weakness.

I'm a 56yr old man who has been running mountain trails my whole life. Last month, a group of girls showed up in a van and two different cars to the trail head I was about to run. They were college track stars. There were 13 of them and we were all stretching out and I was talking about the trail and one of them decided to challenge me. After it all got worked out, the bet was I had to beat half of them and they'd buy me a healthy smoothie and if I lost, I'd buy them all a smoothie.
    So we ran.
I beat them all by a mile and got my smoothie.
Mind you, the last time I ran a marathon was 16yrs ago, at age 40. I did okay. It's not like I'm some superstar runner, but I did run XCountry and track in high school.
It was a 6.5 mile mountain trail here in the foothills of the east Cascades, near Sisters Oregon. I truly believed I would easily lose. And yes, I did turn it on a bit more than usual. I suppose the argument could be had that I've run that trail about 100 times and have run mountain trails all over the world for 38 years.

I feel like a lot of women arent living in reality. I'd never step in the ring w a man unless it was a friendly bout w a friend or my hubby. Theres just too much of a physical difference for a physical sport like boxing or martial arts. A good example is the differences between my husband and me. My love grew up doing farm work and it shows. He regularly does a 80 hr week like its nothing. Im strong for a girl but I cant lift a 100 pounds like he can. He makes it seem so light because it doesnt even make him out of breath. Hes only 4 inches taller than me but there's a big difference. When I was hurt and couldnt move my arm he picked me up and carried me without jarring my arm and lifted me in the truck so easy.
Living in a peaceful society has let these.women fool themselves. Feminism has lied to you. Thank God my husband and I have a traditional marriage. I feel bad for young men today. Most are trying so hard to be men they have no idea how to be a wife
