I know it's only a small thing but the line "The morning's come and I will rise" because he is the morning star. Lucifer Morningstar. Is great. It also makes it kind of sad that he has to prove himself worthy of their light when a star is light in its own right.
Not necessarily he's not referring to a stars light, he's meaning gods light, he's seen as a holy (light) but when people.mention lucifer they think darkness death etc, so I think he's saying it as the same reason he fell as an angel because he wants to prove he's worthy of gods light something technically no one is, besides his son who died for mortals sins.
