The A220 is quiet, but also an incredible beast of an aircraft specialized for rapid acceleration, short-field takeoff and obstacle-clearing climbs. The A220's engines are huge, almost the same diameter as on a 757. For a bigger thrill, fly the A220-100 again from an airport with a short runway. The acceleration will squash you (hard!) and make your eyes water with joy...

Honestly I was focused out the window so I really didn’t pay much attention to it. Probably was though.
