I have never seen this video, and it is so beautiful. I remember the day Christina Grimmie was laid to rest in Berlin, New Jersey. It was my brothers graduation, and we watched the funeral procession, right as the graduation ceremony started. Everyone stood up both the students and those in the stands. Even more so, our JROTC color guard saluted. It was gut wrenching. We attended the same high school district, she went to Cherokee, and I went to Lenape. I met her one time, and she was the sweatest young woman I have ever met. She didn't let the fame change her. I think part of the reason why Selena Gomez no longer goes on tour, is because of Christina's death. What is sad, is recently I went to a concert at the Plaza Live in Orlando, as I live here now, and I had to walk out half-way, I physically couldn't be there. I ended up waiting outside until it was done. My friend approached the band, and explained that I personally knew Christina, who was murdered there, and they immediately refunded me the ticket.
Many of us Garden State frands are standing strong for Marcus & Bud, as well as the many people working with the foundation they built in her memory. In fact the most recent Concert For a Cause was held at Cherokee last September; the first live show since Covid hit us hard. My time with Team Grimmie since 2019 helps to solidify my resolve to keep her legacy alive; as Christina deserves to be known as more than simply the girl who died. The best of luck with finding your own peace. 💚

I cry sometimes listening to it because we all wish she finished high school with us (last year) but her parents received her diploma at our graduation & it was truly the most emotional things our class can ever experience. It hurts Selena Gomez more than most because in the industry, not counting her family and boyfriend, Selena was closer to Christina than anyone else...and she was performing at the very moment Christina was shot and killed. Sometime down the line, I hope that Selena performs some of Christina's songs with her brother Marcus providing the music (the Gomez and Grimmie families are extremely close to each other).

She's was so cute with her fans and im so sad to know that many fans lost their idol. I don't know how I would feel if my idol were to die like this. I had an emotional breakdown when I heard the awful news. I was already going through one of the worst times in my life and Christina passing away just wrecked me emotionally. She was the first youtuber I ever watched when I got online. I still think of this sweet and amazing girl. She was a little light in the darkness for a lot of us. She'll always live in our hearts.

In 2016, 3 of my classmates got in a horrible car accident & one of the passed away & our whole class was hurt & we felt like there was a piece missing & when i found this song all i can think about is my class mate that passed away. I cry sometimes listening to it because we all wish she finished high school with us (last year) but her parents received her diploma at our graduation & it was truly the most emotional things our class can ever experience. Transfiguration will always remind me of her .
