- Brenda decides to leave Port Charles and have Jason take her to Switzerland as she believes she has her mother's illness. She runs into Sonny on the docks and they talk about the first day they met. Brenda tells Sonny to stay happy and blessed and he says he'll miss her smile. They hug and say goodbye.

I agree. I absolutely hated Sonny with Carly. I stopped watching GH after Brenda left. It wasn't the same without those two.

Sonny should've apologized for everything he did to Brenda as well! He put her through a lot and hurt her far worst then she hurt him!

@@kasandrapurplekitten - So what? He lied to her and Lois from the beginning about being a mobster, and his activities outside of L&B. Lois and Brenda hesitated bringing him on, because Lois suspected things about him. Sonny assured them that he was legit, and gave them his word! He lied! The door swings both ways.
Still don't understand the writers in this scene... What the hell does she have to say sorry about? He broke her heart not the other way around.
She said she was sorry for the things she has done to hurt him.
I know she did but it just doesn't make sense. It's like he didn't ever truly apologize for leaving her at the alter which was the most horrible but he also did other things that he never apologized for. I just don't understand it...
if they want my ass back at gh they need to brenda back and have sonny be sorry for giving brenda so much hell if gh cant do that ill stay gone

Guza wanting to rewrite history and try to make them as toxic as he could. He couldn't have Brenda come back and ruin his "supercouple" Sonny and Carly. I hated this return! Hated, hated, hated it! I just kept yelling at the screen HE LEFT HER AT THE ALTAR!!!
this return was worse than the 2010---i know unpopular but I remember being sooo excited for Sonny and Brenda in 2003 and they made it all about Jax and solidifying Snarly and Sonny. Just ew
They introduced themselves on the docks but they met at Kelly's when Sonny wanted Karen after he turned her into a drug addict an stripper.
They actually saw each other for the first time when Sonny and his goons burst into Jagger's room at Kelly's looking for Jagger after he punched Sonny. Jagger was supposed to throw his boxing match on Sonny's orders, but he didn't. You know Sonny wasn't taking that so he went to Kelly's looking for Jagger. Brenda saw them and ran up to his room to tell him Sonny was looking for him, then she helped Jagger and Karen escape through her room. Brenda was in Jagger's room polishing her toes when Sonny burst in, that day, her and Sonny started their banter. That was in 92 or 93.
Sonny charter went all the way down after Brenda left. They put him with so many wrong woman.
He only met his soulmate and built a family after Brenda left!!!
