So far no field fires around my area this fall, wheat harvest was a different story. 3 fires in 2 days within a 3 mile radius, only one combine went up in flames and zero injuries overall.
@@WesFarms oh nice I’m from Aurora but running the construction at Central High School installing the new gym floor but, love seeing all the farming between here and home
Thanks. I live in PA but I have hiked on hundreds of miles of old Milwaukee Road rail trails across Montana, Idaho and Washington (perhaps a bit more scenic than Illinois 😛) I enjoy your videos. Thx!
Way 2 go, you’re 💯correct, harvesting wheat and edible beans , always had a disc and water truck standing by. Good job hoss👍🏻
Farmers helping farmers is the American way!!
Glad you fared well Wes! Good idea to be prepped for what might happen! Thank y'all for farmin', fixin', fire fightin' and feedin' 🇺🇲 !!

We had a bad hay field fire near me that took hours to handle. It’s been so dry this year.
Also if you have the ability please consider joining your local volunteer fire dept we need your help!
I wondered where Beaverville's tender was heading back from the other day.
I drove past a pretty large field between Limestone and Herscher that was all charred up
That was the big fire I talked about in the video
Yah. I heard the one by herscher was wild.
@@WesFarmsright on. Do you farm around the Clifton/Chebanse area?
@theaveragenick1 Yes about 10-15 miles east of there.

What railroad used to pass through your farm?
The old Milwaukee Road. They abandoned the “Southeastern Line” in 1980.
