I learned more in one hour of watching this step by step video that I have in a almost a years worth of watching many different digitizing demonstration videos . You were excellent in describing each step without dragging out the wording too much. KUDOS.
I appreciate the detailed tutorial. I have a ricoma MT-2001 and chroma lux as well. Nice to see how others are digitizing and their tips. I did pick up a few ones that will definitely help. Thanks again!
Been watching lots of videos and this video thought me more than I was expecting. Great demonstration and explanation of everything. very easy to understand. Great video !
Hey sir, thanks for the video. You helped me understand the software aLot more than I did before. I was struggling before because the Ricoma videos I watched before didn't go into depth. Awesome.
Great tutorial. One question. I am BRAND new to this program. Been using Illustrator for over 20 years however. That being said, you mention not liking the "eyedropper" tool. I see what you mean about the overlap, but there has to be a way to use the eyedropper tool, then simply offset the X,Y of the fill? This would give you the overlap. Is there no such tool? In Illustrator, I can simply use the "Offset" feature.
There is but its not precise like illustrator but neither is the thread so that makes sense. You can expand the object by a percentage and it will create overlap. Lately I have just been turning toggle the view to thread and then you can see where it will land

Good video. The only thing that would make it better is at the end, you showed the finished patch embroidered out.
Great work
