i think they are pretty popular in korea, I read something around a year after their debut where it ranked major groups on a chart. i was surprised to see them there at all, i think the were on the around the fourth tier out of the five tiers. fx was on the second to third tier, but i'm not sure. this is all from memory, so don't quote me.
Bands aren't usually allowed to play live on music shows like these. They all know how to play the instruments, the music show just doesn't let them play live. Even F.T. Island and CN Blue can't play live because it takes too long to set up. Just to clear things up.
Bands are not allowed to play live on weekly music programs in Korea, if they want to they have to pay a fee. Search AOA beautiful concert to see the only time you get to watch them play live.
Its not fair, with a big outdoor stage like that, they should b playing live. I know their worried about mistakes but thats what time delays r for. We do that in US broadcasting all the time. A band should play live, smh its sad because they're actually a good live band

Actually, CNBlue did play live a few times for their last promotions but it was on KBS and MNet. MBS still won't allow live band performances. Their was an article on Allkpop.com about it.
