Your videos always showcase such a wide variety of both engines and their owners. Have you ever thought of doing interviews with some of the owners? Their background, how they got in the hobby, where they obtained their engines, etc.? I bet the people are just as different as the engines. 👍😎
Man I wish I was part of a live steam club, that’d be so much fun even though if I don’t have the money for one of these. The closest one to me is only open two weeks out of the whole year and the treasurer at my local HO/N scale club says they’re not very nice people
Id buy 4120 and convert her to propane if ever i could. Shed be an even better steamer than she already is. Id take her to train mountain after a few other modifications made as time progressed. Seen her on this channel for years, shes absolutely astonishing.
The always half naked guy should be ashamed of the condition of his engines. I have never seen any live steamers with caked on grease all over the running gear and the owner except him and his 4-8-4. Maybe that's why it runs so well in all the videos? The Southern Ts engine is gorgeous!
Ye, idk where you are in the world so idk if you already know this or not, but it gets _hot_ in Illinois during the summer, upper eighties to low nineties even _before_ the heat index is taken into account
Hi All Great video thanks for posting I am a Novice Model Engineer from across the Atlantic in England. You folks have some really Great models and lovely open space areas and long tracks to run your locos on, far longer than we do in the UK. Currently our longest tracks would probably be Echillswood, Great Cockrow railway and Rugby Model Engineers (Rainsbrook Valley) if anybody was interested In checking them out on RUclips. Please could anybody give me some information as to what that lovely Model is, (the green painted4 -6-0 No.730 with "Rutland"written on the tender)and whose company make the parts for it. Many Thanks Happy steaming and Merry Christmas to you All Andy G
Ive been lurking on this channel for a few years and that topless dude is still going strong haha!
There’s one engine in this video that really peaks my interest. I’m guessing most people know what it is. lol 😂
Obviously that Rio Grande streamlined Atlantic XD
@@adriannash2705 lol 😂
Is that first one in the intro?
@@Magicalpickel203 Yeah. 👍
That's one Beautiful Southern Railway model 💙
While there are a lot of awesome models here, I Love that Daylight locomotive ❤🧡❤️🧡
That silverton northern 2-8-0 is what I look forward to see when you upload

Look at the informational and how to playlist for profiles in live steam videos
Was that cp 4-4-0 Owned by a dan wilinkinson of Oregon at one point?
OMG. I felt bad the Daylight had no customers. 🙁

That’s a Shay locomotive
Are the Tracks smaller than the one's they use at Train Mountain?
Same gauge as Train Mountain
Where was this?
We have a Steam Power Show for old tractors here in northern Illinois. No locomotives though
I'm from Illinois and I love steam locomotives--especially 4-8-4s. Not a big fan of hairy shirtless guys, though.
When you build your 4-8-4, you’re welcome to wear a shirt
👍❤️

Where in Illinois is this?
It’s a private club outside of Chicago

Why does that guy with the 4-8-4 Northern always have his shirt off? Kinda creepy if you ask me
It’s a private club and he elected he was more comfortable in the heat without one. Its his choice to make

yeah, hairy shirtless guy is not something I would want to look at reguardless but also his loco has the most grease & dirt on it I've seen anywhere.
...and I guess they don't have any safety rule on following too close either
It's not a true Steam Channel video without No Shirt Guy
