- Iowa has now been the champs of the Big Ten Tournament three straight times. Hawkeyes Coach Bluder talks about the sold-out crowd at Target Center and the team's performance as a whole, highlighting players such as Hannah Stuelke, Caitlin Clark, Gabbie Marshall, Kate Martin, and Sydney Affolter.
Bluder starts off with congratulating Nebraska...class.
A class act. she fostered a family team atmosphere where every member is valued.
Coach Bluder is just a Great Coach. They didn't waiver, they didn't panic, they waited for their run and got it. Her sub pattern was terrific and you could see the defensive intensity ratchet up in the second half. Kids like Kylie Fuerebach comes off the bench and brought a relentless harassment of Nebraska Guards, Syd Afolter starts and brought defensive toughness with 11pts and 11 boards, Addy O'Grady banged with probably one of the best Centers in the country in Alexis Markowski....They play with controlled energy which wears down teams trying to keep up with them. Congrats Hawkeyes and look forward to the Big Dance!!
Hanna IS one of the best posts in the country. Once SHE figures that out, watch out!

Yes, I was thing the same. This team is the epitomy of "It takes a village" all the way down from the coaches to players. Amazing team atmosphere. Top end recruits and parents really need to take notice. It's getting to play at a high level while preparing for life as an adult.
This championship shows Lisa Bluder is the maestro, the master tactician. Credit goes to her for fielding the right players at the right moment which turned what seemed to be a loss game into a win. Congratulations Iowa.
Interesting, Bluder compliments Nebraska, but Nebraska head never congratulated Iowa didn't even mention them in her post game presser. Shows which coach n team is more a class act.
