I would love to use this feature but I need to be able to kill the power to the car, not watch it on a map making it's way to the local shipping port for a trip to Europe. Also, the car shouldn't start without the fob present. You've missed a key feature there.
Wouldn't it be more beneficial to have an immobiliser built it to the vehicle to stop it from being stolen in the first place rather than having to have a notification to say that your vehicle has been stolen? Unless of course it has been lifted away on a trailer which is impossible to stop.
I can't really say what the tags are for... does a tag need to be present in the vehicle, so that the latter can be driven? ( as with various aftermarket alarm brands)
@@Kammandier Wouldn't it be more useful if the vehicle didn't start unless the tag was in the car? This would stop the vehicle being stolen in the first place and avoid all the stress that goes with having your car stolen. Prevention is far better than a cure. 😉
Isnt this what the MY BMW app does as standard or is it just my bmw that automatically does this. I have a g20 m340i uk edition btw, so can someone pls tell me if its just my car
The MyBMW app only works within 1.5km, if you look on the internet there’s lots of threads about how useless this option is But I also have a friend that could track his from miles away

its literally in the video. the car stops if its a set distance away from a location or tag
@@Kammandierit doesn't say anything about stopping once outside a geofence. Only that a notification is sent 🤔
