Hello from the U.S.! The Rio Grande Valley is an amazing place. It's cheap to live, and has a lot to do.

I was near that area at the time and the wind was so strong that someone’s trampoline flew onto the road and lots of destroyed fences, trees, and also cars were going off.
Damage: there were 2 gas stations completely destroyed and lots of property damage

@@CVA.Weather we do get storms often but they are just normal rainstorms. Hail is also rare too and the storm in 2012 dumped so much hail that the roads looked like a blizzard just hit the city. Thousands or cars were damaged and even a parking lot shed collapsed because of the hail. Don’t forget the 70mph gusts that snapped trees and we got over 12 inches of rain. The recent storm blasted 80-100mph winds with worse damage.

A bright electrical flash doesn't necessarily mean a transformer has blown up. It could simply be caused by two wires being blown together or forced together by falling trees or limbs.

Luckily our area never gets hit too hard by hurricanes. We do get wrecked, however, by the intense heat and humidity that the Gulf of Mexico produces.

That’s not the reason why it’s cheaper there I think it’s because of the heat and climate it’s very dry but we rarely get storms like this
