I was near that area at the time and the wind was so strong that someone’s trampoline flew onto the road and lots of destroyed fences, trees, and also cars were going off. Damage: there were 2 gas stations completely destroyed and lots of property damage
@@CVA.Weather we do get storms often but they are just normal rainstorms. Hail is also rare too and the storm in 2012 dumped so much hail that the roads looked like a blizzard just hit the city. Thousands or cars were damaged and even a parking lot shed collapsed because of the hail. Don’t forget the 70mph gusts that snapped trees and we got over 12 inches of rain. The recent storm blasted 80-100mph winds with worse damage.
A bright electrical flash doesn't necessarily mean a transformer has blown up. It could simply be caused by two wires being blown together or forced together by falling trees or limbs.
@@DavidEFGonzalezi mean tropical storms can reach Cali, just not as powerful as hurricanes, like hilary in august 2023 which only caused flooding in desert
Holy crap this is one of the more impressive storm videos ive seen in a while. The part where the transformer blinds the screen is nuts!!
That's why those palm trees are a lot more common in California
0:20 that’s crazyyyyy

Wow! Жить возле моря это супер! Дух захватывает❤
Hello from the U.S.! The Rio Grande Valley is an amazing place. It's cheap to live, and has a lot to do.

Imagine being in hurricane living coast area
Luckily our area never gets hit too hard by hurricanes. We do get wrecked, however, by the intense heat and humidity that the Gulf of Mexico produces.
Can’t say never, we’ve had some in the past that destroyed the area. It’s only a matter of time

Me thinking is a hurricane*
This is a hurricane
Nowonder houses are cheaper their!!!
That’s not the reason why it’s cheaper there I think it’s because of the heat and climate it’s very dry but we rarely get storms like this
Any possible variation of electrical fault, arc, vegetation incursion, etc = tRaNsFoRmEr bLeW 😂
