- In this video, I'll be using sounds to raid in Rust. The wipe went surprising well using just our in game voice.

This will actually get you in trouble on certain games, they cracked down on using soundboards in proximity chat, it used to be a popular thing in DayZ and Arma people would play sounds like zombies, or helicopter sounds to make people peek windows, glad to see the spirit still being kept alive in Rust.

that looks like a survivable drop no? cant you fall from 7-8 walls high without dying? plus raiders even have heath teas, so definitely possible
@@oscatMeow no crunch either? The crunch noise is the vital sign that a user has taken fall damage and it is loooooud.
@@nsahandler yeah i mean he could still be hacking for sure, but there are still ways to hit a wall on a drop without taking fall damage whatsoever, there’s tip videos for it. Even limiting your FPS via a keybind so you don’t take fall damage. So it’s possible that happened also, remember server vs client side can look different between players. Just playing devils advocate, i don’t like calling hacks on most things unless it’s blatant
@@oscatMeow if you do the "low fps glitch" using a keybind, you'll be banned by any decent server admin who sees it.
This is why it's hilarious when Camomo gets a hacker who "uses scripts" because they think that programming an action to exploit a glitch in a game is somehow different... when it's literally the exact same definition.

i played with stopa once when i was new he was pretty chill and i got my first successful cargo counter and ak on an official server and i think i played with you you were also really nice love yall and keep up the content
This gives me a genius 4d chess move you gotta try. Set up a kill box with turret shacks dotted around a field next to a clan base. Have an armored car hidden for a quick getaway. Go next to their base and play distant explosion sounds, or use actual distant explosions that are in the direction of the kill zone, so they run out to go counter the raid, when they're in the middle of the kill zone, you remote open all the doors so the turrets take them all out at once, you loot their kits, hop in the car and zoom away before they can come back
This channel is so underrated. Its so fun watching new stuff about rust and not only trapbases and normal raids

I want to do something like this so bad. Something that I think would work so well to get people to come out is playing footstep noises on different materials so that they might think you're on the roof or just to disorient the hell outta them. Hell, one of the comments about it getting people in trouble gave me inspiration from the heli thing. Maybe playing heli starting up noises to make people think you're flying away with their heli or something. That would work especially well in servers where they have the mymini command.
Imagine ghosting a clan by making it sound like the clan is getting raided by just having 4 guys naked at the door using the soundboard. When they come out you go in with them. But you might need hazmats and walls to make it seem legit
Alot of things would need go well for that to work haha

youd probably need a c4 or satchel at least once to make it believeable. the screen shakes near an explosion, giving it away whether or not its a real c4 or fake
this can be handy to scare someone into thinking you have more c4 than what you actually have
i can see ways to bait a clan into coming out of the place where they thought you were c4-ing
