@@lungtamik Very typical of all Panigale models as they show up with zero static sag on the dealership floor. That is the first adjustment - correct it and see how much better the bike is over the majority of road conditions.
What sag do you recommend for front 150mm travel suspension 20-30%?..and for rear 145mm travel shock without rebound adjuster? I assume that it's necessary to have some static sag in rear at least 5mm to eliminate pogoing...
sag always starts at 30-35% to get a balanced preload set up for chassis stability with static sag in the rear shock. If it takes 40% for the rear, that would be the starting point.. Then - based on travel used - sag numbers evolve to get to 80% front and rear.
@@senaanthasena9091 depends on temperatures, your ability and speed and also on carcass plus single or double compounds. Start at manual pressures, then go 3 psi lower and try that setting.
What do you think about this... Set rear to achieve min 5mm static to eliminate pogoing (cuz rebound is missing) then adjust the front to equal sag and have chassis stability.. But mine issue is that I need to stiff the front to avoid bottoming due to hard braking but then the chassis is like chopper 🙄.. Thanks for the answer!
Dave Williams, editor, replying here. Unfortunately no. You can schedule a remote tuning session with Dave (email him dave@davemosstuning.com). He's tuned lots of them, but nobody has shown up with one when we've been filming.
Ah this was great. Especially the explanation on the feel of rebound being too slow in the rear. Top stuff 👌
I would love to have you come to the Portland area to have my bike setup.
Fingers crossed I can get some dates set for October and November!
How do we get access to the full video , the DMT website did t have a downloaded or link? Do we need to buy it?

Great work
Great explanations ! Dave, any chance you got your hands on the new 1200 Speed Triple RS and making a video about it ;-) ?
I have not, tuned a few more and smiles continue to beam from owner's. Fingers crossed for the Fall.
@@catalystreactionsbw I agree, it is a fantastic bike but I found the rear to be very "jumpy"

@@lungtamik ah - should have read back prior to answering. Have you looked at the shock travel used?

front tyre: 120/70-14
rear tyre : 140/70-14

Do you guys have any videos of tuning a Buell? "Asking for a friend..."

Sick of "Heres a preview."
Perhaps will we change it to DMT information nuggets.
