Listening to all of your “scenarios” made me feel like you were in my home watching me homeschool 😜 Thank you for these tips! It’s nice to feel seen and to know that there are people who really understand ❤

All of this encouragement needs to be shared for when you are in the season of activities that our multiple children love! Mom of 7 here. I have older children thriving in their sports and extracurricular activities. That means we are extremely busy, but that doesn’t mean bad! ❤❤❤❤

Wow! Thank you for this! I need help figuring it all out. I think I have ADHD so I can take notes on your advice and then I might forget where I put them! Or I might start doing it and then stop.

I have commented here a few times but I always feel like I need to say it. Even though I am not a homeschool mom I benefit so much from watching your videos. I am especially interested in your class that you mentioned for the summer. You are a great mom. Thanks for sharing so much on your channel.

Abby I hope you know what a huge blessing you are to the generations of homeschool moms coming after you. I may need to rewatch this again and take notes. My kids are still little, but so much of this was relevant to me now, and I love getting the perspective on how life may change in a few short years so I can feel confident and prepared. You really are a God-send to so many of us!

Oh I loved this video and loved finding out about the open collaboration. I definitely have some thoughts and look forward to filming a video about it on my channel (very new to RUclips!) and collaborating. Thank you for the initiative and the sound advice!

I loved this! Glad I’m not the only one feeling pressure sometimes. The tip that stuck out most was, being dismissive of our kids. I liked the example instead of making them feel like mom’s always busy and they’re the problem vs taking a breather break and rewording it to make them feel secure and loved. ❤

Great tips! My biggest struggles are systems - which I’m currently in the process of putting your chore system into place- and also feeding myself. I’m definitely a coffee all day kind of girl ha ha but then I’m grumpy and tired from not eating breakfast or lunch.

This is a great. video. Also, please don’t apologize for being chatty- we’re here to hear from you! And another thing: don’t apologize for “self-promoting”- we wanna know all of your tips and *someone* is going to have a question about something in a video you’re making mention of- you’re just working smarter not harder 😄

Wish I had this message to hear every week! ☺️ Thank you, Abby! I have three kids, ages 1-6 and I so appreciate everything in your message! This school year, I’ve stayed focused in my lane. Last year, I struggled with it, being a new school mom carry my newborn and 2 year old. You always inspire me to be better!! ❤

I think this is the video of your that I have most valued and appreciated that you have ever made. I have been watching for years and love the content you provide. Wow, this was great! I have 5 kids in all - stepdaughter in public school, 7 year old I homeschool year round, and 3, 2, and 4.5 months. Having three that are 3 and under is exhausting - just buckling them all in the car can seem daunting. This is very helpful for practical advise now and also the reminder for the "light at the end of the tunnel" knowing they won't always be so dependent on me. I will have "olders" one day.

Thank you so much for this video. One reason I love following you is you love full life. We have a lot evenings with ministry and my girls are in dance. I think sometime the do less can look like grass greener on other side of fence for me sometimes but reality is we thrive when living with purpose in evenings. Hearing your busy life always brings me back to my “why” we are busy reminds me how good it really is.
Also tips helpful I def need to do a restart before evenings I haven’t been doing that and my brain won’t turn off one space to go to next and it leaves me overwhelmed in evenings

Looking forward to the M2H workshop!😊❤ Also I have taken pics of how I want a room to look when it’s done for my kids to go along with the room cleaning checklists!
