It's not a weird rule, the pool is meant to be a calm, relaxing place, that invites guests to have a peaceful and serene time, which goes with the whole vibe of this hotel. While playing at the pool is fun, there is a place and time for it and THIS is not the place to have loud, cheering and overexcited children screaming around and desrupting all the other guests....hope you still enjoyed your stay
Stop being so rude the point of going on holiday is not only to relax but to also have fun with your family and make some lasting memories, if it’s an adult only hotel I agree but if they allow kids there ofc it’s gonna be a different atmosphere and if ur an adult and you want a calm pool go to an adult only hotel..

People have rooms near the pool, who wants to hear for hours...look at me mom, and tourist do chicken fights...you want to have pool time, go to the Holiday Inn..
There should be separate pools for playing and relaxing.
