AMSTERDAM: Much more than the CITY OF SIN [4K]

Amsterdam is much more than the simple stereotype that is presented on postcards. Entering Amsterdam means discovering a cosmopolitan city, of great museums intoxicated by the Dutch Golden Age and of neighborhoods always ahead of their time. These days we have surrendered to its harmony and urban solidity, making it hard to believe that in former times it was nothing more than a marshy area between the North Sea and the Amstel River. #amsterdam #holland
In reality Amsterdam is a modern and cosmopolitan city that lives in spite of tourism, with a social landscape that defines tolerance as an indissoluble part of the Netherlands.
Moreover, Amsterdam is a clear example of the never-ending struggle to defend itself from the encroachment of the sea and disproportionate urbanism.
During these days we have soaked up its culture -beyond the myths and exaggerations of tourists regarding the CoffeShops or the Red Light District-, visiting the windmills of Zaanse Schans, to the north, tasting its exquisite desserts and releasing adrenaline in the highest swing in Europe: the A'Dam Lookout.
