- 1.Thinly slice the Lemon . Spread the Lemon a tray or a
large plate and place under the sun to dry for 8days.
Make sure you cover the tray with a net or a thin cloth to
prevent insects and dust from getting into contact with the slice.after 2 hours just turn it other side.
2.7th day grind well.dry in the sun for 1 day.
3.8th day grind well.sieve the lemon powder,transfer back the remaining amount into mixer and grind again.Store it in an air tight jar.
4.Lemon powder can be mixed with sugar to make lemon sugar, with pepper to make lemon pepper or used to flavor tea, cookies and lemon powder for making a face pack.

This is the good thing about the sun. You don’t need to waste money on a “dehydrator” the sun is a natural dehydrator for free.

Does its acidic content would still remain?? I need to find a citric acid substitute that is powdered for our experiment. Liquids are not applicable so we cannot use lemon juice. Can I place it in a microwave oven instead of exposing it to the sun in 7-8 days? Just to speed up the process. This would be a great help. Thanks.

I guess so. You can probably use it over gummies. Citric acid are in lemons so, I suppose you can only since citric acid comes from lemons.
