Strange isn't it, that the word erotic can have negative connotations for some people. So many are still nervous and confused about women's sexuality in 2016, seeing it as something negative or sordid. It reminds us how brave Frida was all those years ago, to live her life totally comfortable in her own skin, unashamed and joyful in her sexuality. A remarkable woman and such an inspiration to modern women to love and accept themselves, rejoice in their uniqueness and own their sexuality. Bravo Frida!

The thing that really touches me about pictures of Frida and Diego is the LOVE they had deep down for each other, even after all the mess they put one another through. They were always kissing each other, always showing physical affection to one another. Parts of their relationship were so crazy but it was so obvious the deep down love they had for each other. They really couldn't do without one another. Diego did see that in the end. Frida always knew she didn't want to be without her Diego. It's very poignant, sad, yet joyful and very moving. Their story is fascinating.

I checked it out. You are a talented artist. But I think you gave her a little too much lips. Other than that I think it's beautiful and so are your other oil paintings.

+Tina Katnich Yes - I painted Frida with too much lips for sure! I could have corrected, but I thought it made her even more beautiful. How should Frida be painted next? :) www.tinakatnich.com

Never tire of seeing my fav. artist Frida! I say this in English because. . .WHO? would,(let alone over 900 peeps), give this a thumbs down??? Que???? Prob. non-Spanish speakers, which doesn't matter anyway! With an artist's,(especially, of this caliber-Diego y Frida), there is no language barrier!!! Prince,(the musician), became a symbol for the same reason! No labels for amore and brilliance!!! Mucho AMORE FRIDUCHA!!!! ;)

Thanks for sharing this with us You Tubers!
And yes I too think this is a very nice unique compilation of short home movies of Frida. She seems happy in most despite her handicap. So sad she had to go through so much pain and misery in her life. She was so very talented though so at least she had that much going for her. Thanks! :)

Frida K. my art hero because she painted her life of pain and disablity. So original in dress, thought and self, Frida was herself frist. She still loved Diego in a way few women could. I love her paintings since l frist saw them years ago in Ms. Magazine, but they were in black and white! That was when we frist discovered Frida in America. Now Frida is known for the woman and artist thanks to a movie, many books and lotts of prints of all kinds. Thank you Frida for your strength and ablity to express your life in paintings! 🌹🍀🌹🍀🌹🍀🌹🍀🌹🍀🍀🌹🍀🌹

Diego was groundbreaking brilliant and great for his era..yet so political in his message that his work did not age gracefully in my view.Frida did not have the same brush skills as a craft that Diego had..but so much more depth pain joy and imagination that Diego could admit envy. The student became the master.Frida for the ages.
