i recently became a member. if you wish he taught openings, middle game strategy, and tesuji at a lower level (around SDK/low dan) it’s the perfect content for you. tbh his 9-dan games go way over my head. he uploads often and it’s always in a game context so it’s easy to understand how to apply his teaching concepts to a game.

I am a member and have been for a while. Doctor always uploads quality videos. You can tell he really knows the game and especially knows how to teach. If I had to guess I went from 7k to 3k with doctors help, which is crazy considering it’s not like private lessons or anything. Highly recommended to anyone considering

In what kind of timeframe. 7k to 3k can happen in two weeks without any coaching

I dunno, a year maybe. I wouldn’t give too much to the timing when comparing yourself to others. But I will say that I am talking over-the-board strength (similar to ogs I guess). So in fox terms that looks more like going from fox 3k to fox 1 dan in my opinion.

I think a two week jump from 7k to 3k is the kind of jump people want to make but I think if we were to really test all parts of their game the strength gained isn’t actually reflected in the jump. Like people get good at one server style or time setting. I’ve watched someone claim to have jumped from 5k to 6dan (and certainly they were much stronger and quiet a good player) but they were still actually no one close to 6dan when the stones hit board
