I've watched the Mt. Carmel band enough so I automatically expect a darn near flawless performance and they always seem to deliver...what a GREAT high school band. I LOVE these guys !
I know that at my school Mira Mesa, we had little zip-ties attached to the mutes, and they were clipped to the side of the uniform until the trumpets had to use them.
Great wind section which justice to complex flute and clarinet counterpoint melodies, which are such an important feature of all Alfords's marches. He gave each section a band an essential part to play in the overall effect. Good job M t Carmel! Really enjoyed this performance z,
Very good for a hs band, all in step, all playing well it seems. Drum Major is a bit OTT to what im used to but ig thats what happens with such a light mace. Everyone did well tho!

As a Brit, this was played impressively.
I love this Alford march! Very nicely done, Mt. Carmel! (I'm Glendora Alumni, '79)
Nice job on a great march! I remember Arcadia, Long Beach, and the eternal smog. But it was always exciting. (Mt. Miguel alumnus, 1970.)
Very well played and performed my favorite march by the great Kenneth Alford
I love their dynamic contrast!!
What a well balanced band. Enough tubas to balance out the top parts. Great playing and thanks for sharing this performance.
Wow! Now that's a thing of beauty. What a pleasure. Nice Job MC.
Great march played and performed so well.
I was there, and in my opinion no other band came close in terms of dynamic contrast. Awesome job, Mt. Carmel!

I LOVE MARCHING BANDS
The sound was awesome live. Very well balanced.

It's weird, to an English eye - the daft uniforms, the antics of the majorettes, are they? but the musicians play (and march) very well.
that's high school marching bands for ya
Welcome to SoCal mate
I love this band
I've always wondered the same thing too.
GREAT DYNAMICS
The gas prices back then.........
I go to shadow hills and damn I wish we played this march
Same here. I go to Lake Braddock.
The Redcoats are coming. ;-)
