How to working
Well, that probably makes a few of the trophies easier. Namely the one where you glide from one side of the map to the other and the one where you do like 30 tricks without touching the ground.
Idk if the gliding one would work since you have to go from financial district to Astoria but I guess with enough height anything is possible
The 30 tricks are easy, you just have to keep swinging!

Both of them are pretty easy

honestly the most fun i've had in a game for a long while because of the endless glitching opportunities. so glad i got the physical version.

Actually a great glitch. You get to see NY from a high height and can do the TASM2 dive
So I tried doing this and instead of going up, the chair stuck to Spider-Man’s hand and made him slide side ways and clip into the mansion. The mansion is clear from the inside even though there was a flame mission here. It doesn’t seem I can escape without fast traveling.
Same thing happened to me first time I tried it. That was fun.
This is a pretty good Sonic 06 easter egg. Really shows the attention to detail.

tbh the alternative for this was the trashcan glitch in Hello Neighbor back in the day. both iconic. I love them.
probably due to how collisions are handled in most games. spider-man is pushing the chair but the chair is simultaneously pushing him. sometimes, this bugs out and one object ends up exerting more pushing force on the other, so you end up just flying into the sky.

So, how it works, is that the character entity is standing in top of the physics-bound object, and when that happens the item is repelled from the player, so when it repels upward, the player moves with it, engaging in an unlimited cycle of force + object goes upward.

I know the location is not accurate to the comics but I think it's likely that mansion will be for the X-Men. I have nothing to base that off of, it's literally just a hunch but I could see it happening. Baxter building is also not in it's comic location.

It works because the seating part goes up because of Spider-Man's leg being in collision with it while Spider-Man is being pushed up because he's standing on the back of the chair. Infinite loop! It always happens when I try to create movable trampolines in Dreams

Did anyone notice the ufo saucers from men in black 1. It’s the New York State pavilion in the bottom left at 0:40. A lotta detail for being outside of the map.
Drop down from as high as you can get and try to see how much velocity you can get from swinging forward.

Another glitch if you have not done a hunter's base it will be marked on your map and if you have to do the crimes were you have to take someone to an ambulance you can go into the hunter bases but the building will be hollow in side

I wanted to see if it worked, and I am currently 4000 m. While I was typing this, the game glitched, and I think the chair disappeared. I believe ~4000 m is the highest you can go.
It took a while to get on a chair, but it is a lot of fun once the glitch works.
