Love the sound, awesome piece of kit!!! but a 2 min 22sec lap in that car is on the slow side. 993 RSR(old AIR Cooled. 3.8 litre motors with @400bhp/2500lb car) turned 2:16-2:18 all day with an average driver. I suspect that car is good for at least a 2:00 lap with the kind of pull he's generating. Would love to see more!!!
What you saw is a driver new to the track, he was just dialing himself in and having a little fun at the same time. Track times were not a concern, just getting to know the track and also a newly rebuilt engine/suspension setup was the focus of that weekend. I wouldn't be surprised if this car could break the 2:00 mark.
Exhaust is routed to under passanger side frame with tip facing down, it makes the earth rattle even at idle, and screams like crazy at 10,000 rpm.
Damn. This car is fast. Those vipers looked like they were standing still.

This was a practice session, if it were a race the vipers would put up more of a fight. Definetly this RX7 could still pull on them eitherway!
Lol I would not want to hear that sound or see that car creeping up on me on the track, def distracting as hell. You know you're getting passed lol
