We are just at 10 volumes and I seriously can’t wait for the next, I love them and I love the fact that the story is so long. It feels really realistic bc in real life there aren’t love stories that happen in only a few months and Skip Beat gives me this realistic stroke. Im in love with Ren and I cant wait im just soooo excited!!!

If u just started reading it lately. You have to know that it's been nearly 15 years that this manga come out. It takes 1 month for a chapter. But it's worth it. I'm sure by now you already read 282 and wait like a crazy for 283 i feel you T.T
Basically the girl works super hard to support a childhood friend thinking that they were together and then she overhears him say he is just using her and she snaps. She swears to never love again and goes to reinvent herself. She becomes an actress and meets Ren who is a very famous actor. What she doesn't know is that she met Ren when they were kids. He finds that out early in the story. So the whole thing follows their romance.
I highly recommend this book. Its one of the best I've ever read. Sometimes it's slightly slow but there is drama and it's unlike any of the common books we have nowadays
