Girl you making me wanna put a wig on.. but the way these braids are set up I can’t take em out. 😂😂😂 and tbh I love applying wigs without a bald cap. It’s waaay flatter to me.

I promise you it’s not as hard as people think it is to apply it, and once you do wear one, you’ll be stuck FOREVA lol. The wax stick is going to do it every time! Can’t do my hair with out it! The prom hair tutorial will be up on Friday 🥰
I really liked your video! I’m a little older than you well probably a lot, I’m 48 but I am new to learning how to install a wig. I always see people creating videos with new wigs and that great, but my biggest question was how to reinstall a wig that has already been on and taken off. Now honestly I always take a baby wipe and toner to clean glue residue off. I did it one time on a humbug and found out it removed the glue so well and fast so I always use a baby wipe now.
I can see how that works because of the acidity of a toner. I like using oils too both of them are honestly good options since the toners are meant to go on your skin

Not the Holiday Heart wigs 😂😂😂😂 I use the Ebin glue that comes in the red bottle well it has a red label and it’s amazing. But I do get you when you say it’s WATERY 😂😂
I’m going to try that one too, but so far I’m side-eyeing Ebin lace glue because she just wasn’t giving. 😴

Yeah i don’t like the bald cap either, I use gel or ez edge to slick my edges back then I clean it up with alcohol. Re install and it’ll hold up for a week & my edges are still there . But ofc use oils or a bond remover always!

I’m trying to no cap method 😭 and the lace on my forehead is just not melting and the lace has a white overcast….what am I doing wrong??
What glue do you use and do you tint your lace?
Everytime i use BoldHold Active it gets gunky instead of getting clear and tacky. Takes almost 10 minutes to dry. I use alcohol to clean my face before applying but i still don’t know what I’m doing wrong 😢
I use the bold hold skin protectant, alcohol on the skin is way to harsh. Do you apply thin layers and work in sections? It works best for me that way, also, the glue may just not mix with your skin type. You may have to try another glue.
Finding hair products/products in general is like trial and error. I was using ghost bond at first and it just wasn’t working for me at all 🙃
@@MsImaniE i do apply thin layers and work in sections, the lace comes back up the second i try to lay it down though. The bald cap method always slips under the wig or completely adheres to the wig itself. I haven’t used skin protectant before, probably what caused my chemical burns when i was using Got2B glued spray. I have a reaction every time i use it now, so i switch to Ebin. I did recently purchase Ebin’s black spray gel, it’s way more tacky than the BoldHold and dries very quickly but i haven’t used it for an install yet. Lordt please Wish me luck I’m bouta go play in my head again 😂😂😂
@@stephanyguerrero1230 I actually stopped using bald caps because they slide and they started pulling out my edges. Oh yes, constantly putting alcohol on your skin or not using a protective barrier before putting a substance on your hair will do it!
I personally didn’t like ebins lace glue, it was very runny. I’ll try the spray next time I do an install. 😂 you got this! Please let me know how it turns out
I used the Ebin for my first time and I hate it. It dries so slow! Lol

Until it gets clear
okay is that usually around 5 minutes i use bold hold too
Less than that, if you work in sections and use a popsicle stick to smooth it out, within a minute or so you’ll see the product become clear
