The main thing here is the development of the quick release wing AND wires. This will make transporting so much easier. Usually models either have quick wires or quick mechanical connection but not both. Excited to see this tech finally
I really like the quick release main wing mechanism. This makes transportation and assembly at the field so much easier. The question is how many cycles can it take before the plug wears out.
The lack of improvement in the durability of landing gear, foam, paint, and basic finishings over the last 10 years has basically ruined any excitement for new models. Same disposable products, different stickers. These should be laminated w/ plastic, fiberglass, or carbon at these prices. Not to mention a carbon subframe mount for landing gear. Something. Anything. I see people walk away from this hobby after 3-4 planes ALL THE TIME. The market is surviving on the entry level and abandoning the seasond hobbyist that are willing to pay for quality.
That's why you BUILD your own aircraft. Most in the hobby today have no earthly idea what being a real craftsman modeler is, none at all. Although these foam models are nice for having something you can fly in 10 minutes, one will never, ever get the satisfaction of flying a scale model one has crafted from hard work and dedication. It's just not possible. Not bashing foamys either, as I have several myself for some quick fun. And I've heard all the excuses over the last 45 years about not having time to build, ect... ect... ect...., the list goes on and on. I don't buy a single one of them. People do what they want to do, period!
The slats provide minimal benefit compared to what it would cost to include them. I think thats the reason they got rid of them on the T-45 Goshawk v2 as well.
What kind of Americans would buy this thing, let alone manufacture and sell it. If i saw this at my field id spit on it, and laugh when it crashed. This ends my motion rc purchases, no more. Gotta draw the line somewhere.
The Chinese manufacture this Chinese plane. The Chinese also manufacture American planes & the Chinese also buy the American planes that they manufacture. Where exactly are you drawing the line? Just wondering. I'm just trying to understand what you object to?
@@RCINFORMER i just told you. But you were too busy justifying your financials to listen. A man draws the line when he will accept no more darkness. The weak justify because everyone else is weak, or they are making money off it..
@glenhar1225 What is the darkness that you will not accept? MRC did not manufacture this, freewing did. Motion is just selling it to the US market to offer something different & also make some $. Are you drawing the line because it's is A Chinese plane? I don't think anyone understands what your point is.
@@RCINFORMER good grief, you really dont get it. You think china is our friend. Not very "informed". The astounding irony is that its a j10, a plane designed specifically to destroy American forces..

I just bought my first Freewing, it came yesterday, the quality looks fantastic. They have some great looking aircraft don't they.
Wow, That landing gear system looks awesome. Freewing just keeps getting better and better!! Wow Weeee........
Ah man, awesome look plane. I had just made a video asking for a lighted HUD and here it is. Wow
Big time wow factor on that one, very nice.
Is that a good first plane? Just kidding. Lol. Very cool.. I'm seriously thinking of ordering one. Looks like it flew great 👍
Looking forward buying one.
Heard you got your own field! Thats awesome Rich. Learned this from Wes watching his new live video. Good luck with everything!
Yep! Will be inviting folks to fly here when it's all set up!
@@RCINFORMER Thats great. lived in the Fort Myers area for for a bunch of years. Looking for a excuse to get back, road trip.
Rich. where have you been brother?
I've been swamped, flying everywhere:)

Does the front an maine strut suport linkage" actually suport the strut when having a hard landing or is it more for looks
I'm pretty sure it's just for looks....
…that makes sense given the speed and other aero factors at play. My sole interest for having them is for the scale look and functionality.
Sorry to hear you had to go to training, but you seem to have survived. I didn't see any tics or twitches. Look forward to the flight video!
Very nice 👌 time for a roller on that runway RICH.
nose gear looks really weak when you shook it slightly
No, it's super tough!
@@RCINFORMER ok good to know
looks brilliant sir hope your all good
Looks incredible
I think I'll be cancelling my F-14 order and getting one of these instead!

Very nice bit of kit bro ❤❤❤
Nice looking jet. No working slats?
Why would it have slats?
Because the real J-10 has slats.

Sweet. Now a lighted cockpit instrument panel on future planes? Man, what a great time to be in RC. 🫡👍👍
