    Join Access in the Making (AIM) Lab explore two works-in-progress in detail and discuss the various ways in which the Anthropocene creates conditions for disablement and how we continue to survive regardless.
    About the speakers:
    - Roï Saade
    Interdisciplinary artist and caretaker interested in the intersectionality between design, photography, and the arts. Saade holds an MFA in Graphic Design from the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik in Lebanon. He is currently a Research Associate and a steering committee member with AIM research lab at Concordia University, Montreal. His recent curatorial ventures include Bound Narratives, a traveling Photobook library and An Expression of Absence, a photography exhibition of 15 photographers from the Arab region.
    - Zied Ben Romdhane
    Born in Tunisia, he focuses primarily on his native country in his work. He explores the socio-political contrasts between inland regions and coastal areas, shedding light on how geography shapes these dynamics. Romdhane published his first book, "West of Life", in 2018 with Red Hook Editions, and "Children of the Moon" with Les Éditions Lalla Hadria. He participated in the Arab Documentary Photography Program in 2015 (AFAC) and World Press Photo's 2013 Reporting Change initiative, taking part in the Joop Swart Masterclass with World Press Photo and receiving the POPCAP award (Africa Image, Basel, 2015).
    - Sabrina Ward-Kimola
    AIM Lab member and PhD Candidiate. Her research interests lie in communication, critical, and disability theories, with specific interest in interactions between the materialities of alternatives practices of communication and the video cultures of new media.
