We're going down memory lane watching this video. My father and I drove through Wickenburg AZ some 20 years ago. Phoenix to Las Vegas and a return trip to Phoenix. The southern terminus of highway 93. The northern terminus of highway 93 is in Jasper, Alberta Canada.
Nice preservation of the ATSF Railroad heritage; it's still the BNSF main line to LA, which US 60 followed. Mostly known as a stop along US 60/70/89 and AZ (now US) 93 between Phoenix, Flagstaff and LA. Looks like it's doing OK, with several motels and a Bashas' supermarket.
