this true. I went from 1100 to 1400 in just 2 months by playing less. I only play if my sanity is good/not tilted to better focus. I only play 6-10 matches of chime a day and most of them are Ws.
i think that the idea of "if your weapon has low range you have to play more aggressive" is actually wrong. i find it much more effective as someone who is currently playing a lot of fist and dagger to wait for your opponent to get impatient so they miss that first parry and you get the free combo which is especially important on the dagger cuz the build is bladeharper
Range doesn’t matter at all unless compared from 7 against 10 and this never happens, besides when you have priority, your range increases (you can test with someone, range just increases for no reason wich is why most chime players hit the air so you lose priority)
This game is cooked bro, mantra feinting and feinting in general is useless because people just airswing and hold m1 through ur feints and windups, there's really no reason to learn a mechanic when everyone just counters it
