Because they give each wrestler too many moves... Too many commands, too many "variations" or whatever we should call them... I remember when creating a wrestler back in 2006 - 2011 games, you could give your caw a moveset in like 20 minutes. I created ONE wrestler in 2k23 and to edit every move took me like a hour, probably even more... So to fill every "slot" they assigned by default moves that true wrestlers never performed...

They at least had to pick one match for each Wrestlemania edition.. So we could at least have every arena and re-create iconic matches missing. That is why I'll never pay full price for a WWE game again, they are lazy AF when developing these games... I could understand if they had to build the game from scratch with a new engine, but this is basically a 2K23 DLC, and 2K23 was a DLC of 2K22... they had to put more effort into this mode. I'll wait and get it for 20 dollars or even less. That's the proper price of a DLC.

You clearly haven't played any of the other wwe 2k games. You unlock them after you complete the showcase objectives to use in any other mode in the game. Except for Brock Lesnar of course
The transition from animation to video looks like shit, also all the video scenes are a blurred mess. They did many of these matches in previous entries and where better then. Hell even legends of wrestlemania over 15 years ago did it better in some aspects

2K14’s showcase felt like an adventure through Wrestlemania.
