Can't belive you didn't do 3 things: 1- crafted the poketwatch; 2- buy the zapnator when had the chance; 3- crafted the Frog Gear to get +1 slot for acessory; Extra: Could've rushed the sky islands before Skeletron to get better acessories. Btw nice content. Love your videos
By the way, regarding the internet: 1. Your character won't get deleted. Your characters are stored locally, uploading to Steam Cloud just backs them up. 2. You won't lag if you're in a singleplayer world, even if your internet is choppy. Once again, you're playing the game locally. Lag only becomes a factor in multiplayer.
The Watch is legit one of the best things you can make. Knowing what time it is is extremely helpful. It helps with farming 3 different herbs, dodging night/Eye early spawns, how long you got before a traveling merchant despawns and more.
One time I died in a hardcore master mode world because I was fishing and at instant it became a blood moon (before I could react to the message/water color change) I fished up a monster lol. So that's another thing the watch can help you avoid. Don't fish when it's almost night time.
This was the craziest run. The game gave you legendary video content for real. The eye (toe?) of Cthulhu spawning during king slime? I didn’t even know it could happen. AND THAT ENDING BROOOO I got so invested
The bricks and wood make your base look like a classic pre 1.2 base back when there werent nearly as many building options. That could be a cool retro base idea you know with the gold chandeliers and the classic banners
since i didn't see anyone talking about it, you could save without internet just not on cloud, so basically it is all the same unless your save gets corrupted or you try to play on a different pc with the same account

@twoshu8940 okay let me give you an example: fight the mechanical bosses, plantera, golem, empress of light and then duke fishron... Or fight duke fishron premech to have easier time with the rest of the bosses. So let's say you have premech weapons and armour, and the choice is to fight the mechanical bosses or to fight duke fishron. Since you have the exact same gear duke fishron is gonna give you much more a threat and it's a challenge on its own. My point is that if your whole objective is to not die fight the bosses in the right order :)
Fun fishing fact: once you get an extractinator, you can get unlimited bait by fishing in the smallest pond fishable with a wooden pole to get a whole lot of trash which will give a lot of bait. Fishing in the bad pond will give you a big excess of bait from the extractinator. Learned this while trying getfixedboi legendary mode.
Legit did not know this. But imo it's way easier to just set up shop in the desert with some NPCs and have unlimited amounts of 15% bait come straight to your doorstep. (Sell the 10% cause they're not worth it. But a reinforced fishing pole + 15% bait at the right time of day and/or weather is enough for occasional biome crates)
If you really wanna min-max this, luck impacts your fishing power, so a negative luck can decrease your fishing power by anywhere between 10-40% (positive luck also increases fishing power between 10-40%), I don't know the drop rates of bass using a wooden fishing pole, I've never really used it, but if you're not getting enough bass you can use ladybugs as bait to decrease your luck and thus fishing power even more if that's necessary. And if you need your luck higher for whatever you're fishing for (with up to a 40% increase to fishing power), you can kill the guide, run into any ladybugs you find, wear a lucky horseshoe, lucky coin, or both (items crafted from either also have the same effect, but they don't stack), shimmer a platinum coin, have a galaxy pearl active, use a luck potion, and place biome torches into the correct area. Coral torches/Bone torches in your ocean spot to increase luck, , corrupt, crimson, ice, desert, jungle, and hallowed in their corresponding biome/underground biome, and bone torches for everything else. And place a gnome. Terraria's luck mechanics are super tedious, but hey, if you're fishing up trash to get unlimited bait, one of these mechanics will help you get the fishing power needed for better chances at whatever you're fishing for. The easiest is probably just placing the correct torches everywhere with the torch god's favor (it won't give you bone torches unless you go to the dungeon, so keep that in mind) and a gnome to get a boost. It might save some time.
I thought the whole point of hardcore is that you delete both the character and the world when you die, otherwise it's just mediumcore with extra steps. Absolute clickbait ✋😐🤚
