I swear by Bernard Edwards jazz bass, I have not been taken that off guard by a band in a long while. The enormity of musical space the manage to create is just breath taking and the cheer musical craftsmanship is just inspiring. They have an ability to let the music breath, give every not a purpose and the attention they have towards velocity is truly beyond me. I now have a new bands discography to dig into and for that gift, I salut you. Cheers!
ha when you get really really famous i can say i knew them before they were famous!! so happy i got to know this band. great music, unique sound, this is what music is supposed to be.
In a way, you're right. They are unique in their own style. Still, musically speaking, they have a lot of similar aspects to Kings of Leon's music (atmospheric guitar riffs, high intonation bass lines, vocals, harmonies). But wouldn't necessarily say they're better. The two are my favorite bands and I probably like Mo Lowda & the Humble so much because they actually are similar to Kings of Leon haha
