Personally, I can understand Terry, wanting some affection. But he wanted her to put her whole career on hold for a bit, so that she can carry a child for nine months and then survive childbirth when they have a beautiful child??? However, she needed to ACTUALLY put effort into keeping the affection there.
I agree with Terry about wanting to spend more time with his wife, but him pressuring her to get pregnant again because he wanted a son, that's not a compromise and as Diane said Terry is not the one who actually has to go through pregnancy and surviving child birth he was the selfish one in that not her, he kept forcing another pregnancy on her that she got her tubes tied and stopped sleeping with him, She could have eventually told him about her getting her tubes tied but she didn't have an abortion

This movie is so toxic but great reaction though. It used to be one of my favorite Tyler Perry movies back when I was 6 years old but not anymore. Mike was a straight up idiot and jerk and so were a few of the woman characters. Sheila deserved better and so did Terry and Marcus. Dianne and Angela were horrible. Patricia and Gavin were ok I guess.

I don't agree with Mike on how he did Sheila,then again if Angela should not have been running her mouth at the dinner table that's why Mike put it all on the table. Angela was messy because how can you mess around on your husband get a disease get cured and not say nothing about it.
I slightly disagree on this. I do acknowledge he shared secrets that the rest of the group confided amongst each other. However, Mike PARADED his secret in front of everyone and acted like his dumb ass was getting away with it unbeknownst to them. He’s quite literally the last person to act like a moral barometer or to play the victim - obviously everyone except Sheila knew he was cheating on her. As for Angela and the VD, I’m not thrilled and she ofc has contributory negligence here, but her actions were the ONLY thing that ultimately revealed Marcus cheated on her with Kesha. They both cheated on each other, so they either called the slate clean or cut ties. They chose to stay together.
When you start allowing your partner to start fucking with your job without your knowledge, dont be surprised if they fumble your bag and you end up fired.
One thing I don't like about doctors or whatever her profession is Patricia. She gives everyone else advice and talks like she knows exactly what to say and when the time comes, they never want to accept their own issues or trauma's or anything at all they never take their own advice and talk it out.
I honestly think that they shouldn’t have been going to her for advice or counseling in the first place, they should have seeked out their own therapists..🤷🏾♀️ I think that she had her “doctor” hat on all the time and I think that was why it was so hard for her to be open with her husband, she felt like she had to perfect all the time. I also think that she should have been in therapy as well because I can only imagine how hard weight and burden she was carrying on a daily basis.
