- This is a video with directions on how to mix a pesticide. The two pesticides mentioned here are Crossfire and Alpine WSG. Crossfire, hands down, is the best pesticide ever for bed bug control and Alpine WSG is for other types of bugs. I get asked all the time "Jason, How do you mix your pesticides" Well look no longer! Here is the video!
If you are here because of bed bugs don't forget to check out my course on how to eliminate them on your own. I go over Bedrooms, Living Rooms, and even Automobiles.

Thanks Jason, I started using Alpine WSG is one of the best material in the market.
Jay is the man!!! Dude talked me through this over the phone about 4 years ago when I lived in my apartment in Trolly square. Now we have our own house in Wilmington and it way bigger, not as bad by a Mile but I just needed a refresher. Jason , thank You as always man, I hope you’re doing well my dude!!!
This guy is awesome. Just stopping by because my friend mentioned bedbugs. He helped me get rid of my bedbug issue and a roach issue my grandmother had.
Thankyou for your information. I really appreciated your video. You are helping a lots of people. God bless you.
Thanks man this is exactly what I was looking for, first I watched your how to get rid of flees, now I'm watching this. Landscape designer myself contractors are Covid proof hope you've had a busy last year as well!
2 min in and had to subscribe to your channel. I'm in the industry over here on the west coast.
Good video!!
Thank you!
Great video. I would add..... always triple rinse Crossfire container and add to sprayer as part of your 1 gallon of solution.
Okay so, I have a one gallon container. As I’m mixing the 13oz crossfire solution with the one gallon of water, the total fluid is rising above the one gallon mark on the container. Is this right?
No this is incorrect
Just ordered wsg crossfire and it came today....I'll be spraying in my apartment tommorrow....I'll come back with feedback....thank you✌🏽🖤
If it’s bed bugs use only crossfire
Update?
Warm water, and keep on shaking it up ! Great tips I'll be using them tomorrow, as the sprayer you recommend from your amazon storefront arrived late today.
Keep up the great good works sir. I / we appreciate you.
Thank you so much my grandmothers building got an infestation of bedbugs and they did a half treatment and my kids went to her house and brought one home and I got bit and I cried for a month. Because I am a single mother of 3 working 4 jobs to make ends meet I could not afford the treatment in my area they want 5K just to come and inspect. I came across your channel and I just ordered crossfire and I am going to do everything you have said so I can get rid of them Thank you so much.
How did it go?
I'm trying Crossfire for the first time. Your information was helpful. I tried Cyronara a few years ago without the success I was looking for. Crossfire was introduced to me yesterday so your video was on point. I liked and subscribed to your channel. Thanks for sharing.💯👌
Thank you so mu h for the information. I have all the new beds and dressers just look for crossfire products ....
I use masking tape and spray crossfire on that, and it seems to do it pretty good job
I was hoping to see your methods of triple rinsing the crossfire container, I hope I did it correctly after reading the label, and I know there are people with bad vision that can't read the fine print or the others thinking they don't need to read.
I’ve seen already mixed crossfire products on Amazon, are those useful or only the one in your description that you have to manually mix with water?
I'm so thankful for your channel. I got the product and I'm wanting to mix it right. I'm so stressed out over this. And I'm praying this takes care of the problem. My teenage boys got them in their room and I did everything wrong just freaking out. Sense they brought them home from school I'm pretty sure should I continue to treat for the years they are in school? Is it safe to use on a regular for the next 7 years?
Hi what happened, we’re you able to eliminate them, any updates please ?
Did you get rid of them?
I have what I’d classify as a mild bed bug problem. We had one bedroom with them. Then I found about two on our sofa. I went and bought alpine G and treated the whole house. I do have some cross fire on the way but not here yet. We have none in our master bedroom so I treated the bedroom well took the bed apart did every nook and cranny. Do you think the alpine G will be enough and then in two weeks follow up with the cross fire or should I go ahead and do it as soon as it gets here?
I've found that I need a surfactant to make my Crossfire spread out and not bead up on most painted and metal surfaces. I've been using a paintbrush to apply it. I added a little hand soap to a small amount of Crossfire (Crossfire+water) and it worked great. The solution doesn't bead up on those surfaces. However, I've read that "ionic" (electrically charged) surfactants like common soap can interfere with insecticides, so non-ionic surfactants are best for this. Non-ionic surfactants have an "HLB value" (hydrophilic-lipophilic balance) that can range from 0 to 20, under 10 being more lipid(oil)-soluble, over 10 being more water-soluble. It appears that a product with an HLB of around 10 would be just right for Crossfire. I would like to know which surfactant products would be best for Crossfire.
By the way, I mixed my Crossfire using distilled water, so there are no mystery minerals to get in the way.
Don’t add anything to crossfire. If it beads up that’s fine. It will dry. That’s normal
Thanks for your videos! They are very helpful! .....My sisters cats brought fleas and got them in to my rabbit (even though they are not together) But she use crossfrire for this....if alpamine is better for fleas...how long should I wait to use alpamine or should I just stick to crossfire for now (cause its the one that is was used first)?...
Alpine WSG for fleas not crossfire. Crossfire will not work on fleas. It isn’t even labeled for fleas
Thanks for your help!! I have a question I did apply a gal of crossfire in my house 3 bedrooms and a living room, now I let it dry for 8 hours and than reenter with my family, but I have been worried cause I can still smell the chemical!! And we have a 6 months old baby, is this crossfire safe after 8 hours dry?! Is it normal to still smell it? Is it harmful if it does smells??
Thanks for your videos and help
God bless you.
That’s odd…I’m wondering if you mixed it wrong because I hardly smell it at all when it’s applied
So after failing to eradicate bed bugs for months, in spite of already having killed so many of them, I just ordered crossfire and a gallon- garden tank sprayer. So I fill half of the tank with water and the rest with the 13oz bottle? Can it also be regular tap water? And would a fine or coarse spray application work best? Thank you.
Just regular tap water is all you need
@@GreenAkersPC Thank you so much for your service for so many people free of charge.
Did it work? Are you bug free?
Did it work???
you said mix the pesticide with nice warm water. Is that also applied to when mixing crossfire? The reason why I raise this concern is because in this video, when you are mixing crossfire, you did not specify mention "warm water" , but when you are mixing Alpine WSG, you mentioned mix nice and warm water works better with all pesticide. The crossfire label doesn't say it needs warm water. So, please clarify when mixing crossfire, what water I should use? 1)Tap water from facet? 2)warm water? I don't want to waste my work and effort mixing it with wrong temperature of water and make it less effective as it is supposed to. Thanks!
Luke warm or room temp water works best to mix a pesticide. Not hot water. You can use cold water it just takes more shaking and agitation to mix thoroughly
@@GreenAkersPC thanks!
Question on Alpine WSG. My apartment is just about 800 square feet. After mixing Alpine WSG, do I need to spray the whole gallon within 24 hours like Crossfire? I think it is pretty challenging spray whole gallon of liquid around the perimeter of a small apartment. Just spray half gallon would already soaking up everywhere. So any suggestion for this?
Thanks for this video and the other one that you talked about how to kill fleas, I have put an order of Alpine WSG from the link that you provided; I have a 1900sqft house, how many gallons of mix do i need to cover my house?
Do you mix an IGR with Alphine for fleas or just pesticide?
Hi Jason! Thank you so much for making this video. I currently have an ant and stinkbug problem in my bed room. I have ants crawling from the window area and the sliding door in my bed room. I also have a window air conditioner which stink bugs tend to come out of. Is it safe to spray Alpine WSG inside my room and around my bed where I sleep? Is it too much of a risk to my health or should I just spray outside and caulk everything? Thanks.
5:09 why we need add Alpine WSG?
Currently 10/22/23 10 packets of Alpine WSG is not allowed to be sold in NY. But luckily the 200Gram is still available, I am going to get the 200G bottle before something similar may happens. Crossfire 13OZ is still available, but they prohibit Crossfire Aerosloe. But I still can get it earlier in September. I am thinking if I should stock up the 130OZ Crossfire just in case.
@@MKLA000 any updates
All of the thank yous
So do I need both chemicals or d I just use crossfire
Thanks for the help it really works
is crossfire safe for non-professionals to apply. i wnated to try it for my bedroom but really nervous about allpying pesticides myself
As long as you follow the label it is
I'm not a professional and purchased Crossfire a few months ago and did my application where needed, seen no bugs since! I plan to reapply every few months just to make sure I get them all. :) I didn't make the whole gallon at once, I just used 9.75 tsp (1.62 oz) of crossfire mixed with 2 cups of warm water in a spray bottle and treated the areas I needed within 24 hrs. I can get 8 spray bottles (8 treatments) from a 13oz bottle of crossfire.
@@bonnieclark2725 has it been working?
@@bonnieclark2725 ok thanks answered my question. It is possible to make half of the 13 oz bottle then use the rest later?
Hi, quick question, can you use Crossfire on plastic bed encasement??? My bed is already encased however, I'm still being bitten at least a bite or two a night, these bites are very small like tiny pimples!!! I ordered Crossfire and it will be here today. I just need to know if I have to take off the plastic mattress encasement??? Thank you in advance👍
I would remove the encasement and leave it off. Treat the mattress and don’t put the encasement back on
@@GreenAkersPC Thank you so much for your quick and helpful response👍
Crossfire works if the instructions are followed. I did so and got my problem under control. It's a very effective product. If another problem arises...Crossfire to the rescue! It's just that good!💯
Is it bad to use encasements. Seems to give more peace of mind.
So is tap water ok or should we use distilled? Guessing tap fine since you didn't mention it!
Tap water should work just fine
Is it possible to treat solely with alpine wsg?
Thank you so much! how do you feel about D. Earth for bb treatment?
It doesnt work
@@GreenAkersPC Ok thanks! I have ordered Crossfire & i'm going to sweep all that DE up 1st thing..lol. thank you !!!
Can I apply directly on couch and sofa asking for a friend
Read the label but yes
Do i wait an hour or 2 after applying it
I have a question about mixing crossfire. I just want to clarify so that I do it correctly. You actually mix only 115 ounces of water to13 ounces of crossfire. Is this correct?
Correct
@@GreenAkersPC How would you measure out 115oz exactly? Most of people only have 1 gallon with water =128 oz of distilled water, spring water, milk, that can be bought from supermarket. But the question is, how do you measure 115oz out from the 128oz bottle? That's the toughest critical part people afraid of mixing it totally wrong. I saw video some people just pour the entire 128oz water with 13 oz concentrate, which makes 128+13=141oz. That's considered over-mix, right?
@@MKLA000Great question. No answer though. Lol
If you didn't mix the Alpine with water is that still effective? My Crossfire comes in 2 days to spray again..I'm scared of a spread since I have carpet so I'm steaming and spraying everything. I found d main infestation and it was headboard which is outside and done. It was a cloth decorative board
All concentrates have to be mixed with water or they won’t work.
Thanks for info. Question...how do you recommend i treat for bed bugs if i found bites on me, but i still havent seen a bug. Not one yet. And the things that goes under the bed legs hasnt caught any. Its been 4 days since i saw the bite marks. ??? Thanks
Literally saw some bites on my feet, I bought some bed post traps too and buying this as well
Can I use a spray bottle?
Do you recommend the Smith Contractor Sprayer to use with crossfire bedbug control? Thanks
I usually recommend a B&G
Thank you.
How do I get crossfire in California I tried to order on Amazon an they wouldn’t ship in California
I've got some questions on a few different other chemicals I'd like more information on why I went with other products were the people who did it themselves and it said they were the best? I know one is Gentrol and boric acid powder
Gentrol and boric acid won’t kill bed bugs
You need a go pro if you do wildlife control as well
Can you order it already mixed
You don’t want to. It’s only really good for about 24 hours once mixed
Can you crossfire as a perventive?
Thank you for the info.
Can I mix up a gallon use what I need put the rest away and come back a month latter to reuse it?
No use it up in 24 hours
when you're spraying, i assume the nozzle is close to what you're spraying as to give a 'thick' layer as opposed to spraying further away and having more of a mist? when you spray the carpets, is that more of a misting situation, are you covering the entire carpet?
Why would you spray the entire carpet? That won’t even work for bed bugs
@@GreenAkersPC i don't know, some other video mentioned it and i didn't think it sounded right, but i'm not an exterminator, either. i'm just trying to get a little sampling of methods to be able to question what works best from different perspectives, if that makes sense.
@greenakerspestcontrol have you did a video on how to mix Demon Max before?
I assume we can use a regular spray bottle?
A gallon sprayer
Like one for roundup or some sprayer like that
What is best to use for roaches
I am learning absolute dookie at my job. I have to be proactive in my learning because my company is more worried about getting the job done and getting that EFT and what happens after doesnt matter.
And I subbed
Are you still doing a live this thursday
Should be on. The only thing that will prevent it is family emergencies or something like that
Can i mix both into a bottle to apply every 4 weeks?
No. Why would you want to?
@@GreenAkersPC May be has bb and fleas ...like in my case. What do you recommend in this case?
in canada ontario where i can find crossfire bro.. cant find on amazon
Does it have to be warm water?
No. Room temperature is best but I have used cold right from the tap too. It just takes more mixing
@@GreenAkersPC ok thanks!
Thank u😅
I guess the directions will tell how many grams are in the cap?
Always follow the label and yes the cap is labeled
Can you mix crossfire with alpine wsg? Would it need to be two gallons of water or still just one gallon of water?
I only ask because my alpine didnt come with directions at all.
No you can’t mix the two together
all pesticides come with a label. Alpine pulls off the side like a medicine bottle
Also never use Crossfire for any bugs other than bed bugs it isn't effective except for bed bugs
Thank you so very much! We did the crossfire a month or so back and havent seen any beg bugs but retreating jic. We also have german roaches so i wanted to give the alpine a chance. Really appreciate your help!!!!
I want to ask which is better and do they work on roaches?
Alpine WSG is for roaches not crossfire
I will try crossfire . I just ordered mines for bed bugs. I had a roach problem and Advion got rid of my bad roach infestation.
Can I do this without the big tank !
Needs to be a one gallon
@@GreenAkersPCcan you mix half the 13 oz bottle with 1/2 gallon then do the other half later?
Brought crossfire and thought they would kill on contacts and after viewing a few sites found it says 5 minutes.
I have had it kill in just a few seconds...I guess it's all in how its mixed but when ever I spray they usually die before 5 minutes
I hope you see this I purchased crossfire and I am wondering how can I treat for bed bugs and roaches at the same time?
Do you have to leave your house after you treat with crossfire
Typically I recommend 3 hours
@@GreenAkersPC thank you for all you do 👍
I'm gonna pull my hair out. How do you mix this shit in a 32 Oz spray bottle?
You don’t
I just got the cross fire an I dont know how many cups is 115 oz. I'm
Why would you use cup measurements? You fill the gallon sprayer half full, add 13 oz crossfire, then fill the rest of the way to the top of the gallon sprayer with water. No need to measure
@@GreenAkersPC so that mean I added too much water
@@GreenAkersPC I will buy more an try it again.
If you follow this video and do what I say here in the demonstration you can’t mix it wrong
Because I literally mixed it with a gallon of water. I'm so bad when it comes to this type of things . Thanks for the help 🙂
Can you just use alpine to get rid of bed bugs
It is possible as long as there isn’t resistance
My landlords pest company only uses alpine. I have had 3 treatments and each were 2 wks apart. 1 week after 3rd treatment, still getting bites but much smaller bites like from nymphs. I will be getting 4th treatment in 1 week. Is it possible that the 4th will eradicate them?
It it ok to leave my plants in my house with crossfire
Crossfire is not a herbicide
@@GreenAkersPC so they are on to stay where they are when I spray?
@@GreenAkersPC should I cover the plants or is it not necessary?
Why can i or can i not, CAREFULLY, measure out half a bottle of crossfire with a half gallon of water? I live in a very small appt. And will jot use the whole gallon mix and dont want to waste it. Not to mention theres nowehre to dispose of this stuff
Label is the law and it is extremely difficult to measure the 13 oz. Bottle. If you are able then give it a shot but people who have tried haven’t been able to kill their bed bugs
5:09 why we need add Alpine WSG?
Its instruction for those who want to know how
@@GreenAkersPC
I was expecting you to add the two material together. I misunderstood.
I explain in the video it’s two different tanks for two different types of pests
@@GreenAkersPC
After spraying Crossfire Concentrate, can I lie down directly in bed?
Once the bed is dry. Make the bed and use it. Don’t use mattress encasements just normal sheets and covers
Hi. 1 gallon water plus 13 ounces of crossfire equals 1 gallon 13 ounces?
Crossfire seems a lot more expensive to use than WSG. According to the amount of usage you get
You would be correct lol
The reason I use crossfire for bed bugs though doesn’t have anything to do with the price it has everything to do with the quality of product in their elimination because in pest control call backs suck lol
You are right!!! Maybe I should try Crossfire I do get a lot of call backs for bedbugs!!
@@GreenAkersPC Jason, do you know any pest control experts in the Chattanooga, Tennessee area that you would recommend, because evidently I am doing this Crossfire thing totally wrong and keep having the bed bugs come back.
