Paint a Sketchbook Cover With Me

In this video I paint the front and back covers of my new A4 sketchbook then protect them with coats of gloss medium and reinforce the spine. I know it can be daunting to paint directly onto the covers so you can also decorate by collaging paintings and papers onto the sketchbook.
I love doing this as it creates something really unique and personal to me and now I'm excited to fill the sketchbook. Do you decorate the covers of your sketchbooks? I'd be really interested to hear in the comments below.
