There are few tools that we can say a connection to one's phone was actually for the better. In this case, the Brady M211 Portable Bluetooth Label Printer is enhanced greatly with the use of a phone! This printer has the ability to print almost anything. You now have the ability to change the font, font size, location on the label and so many other things that were impossible to difficult on a standard hand-held printer.
Having the ability to visually see and manipulate your label before it is printed is a huge benefit. The Brady Express Labels app has templates for electrical, computer, safety, plumbing, and laboratory use. It also includes a section where you can make just about anything you would like for any application. The options are now endless and can be created easily without frustration.
The Brady Express Label app is easy for someone who is not tech-friendly to use. You can hand this printer to someone who can barely run a phone and they will quickly be able to print out amazing labels. If you have something wrong, in most cases, the Brady app will give you one button to push to fix the issue and print. That part is great for people who just do not like tech.
There is a large variety of printer tape options and also heat shrink tubing options. There is a tape for your needs including hazardous environment tape and outdoor tape.
This one small printer can do much more than most people could even imagine. It is available in a kit with multiple accessories. You can save money and buy the printer alone, but the case is a nice item to have and if you have the budget, I would suggest the kit.

@@johnwuethrich4196I did buy it! It's awesome. It is a lot easier to size the labels and fonts accordingly depending on the wire sizes, and label both sides of the shrink wrap or flags. Would recommend this product!
@@johnwuethrich4196 its great! the price of the unit is pricey though. the cartridges are insanely expensive! but i can say its the only one out of 5 printers that are a satisfactory in adhesives and quality printing.

Pretty cool label maker. I can see using this when identifying wires in a panel.
Another electrician here, that thing is neat and if you are doing dedicated motor controls and the like that tool looks like the bomb. It would be cool to see supply houses carry it and it's tapes

Yes, it works with your iPhone. Search for the app and it should let you try it.
I got the brother P-cube and it does this. I can even use images and it can take up to 1.5'' tape.
Can the brother P-cube print heat shrink tubes?
@@Julian-nl7vv I haven't tried yet though iv been wanting to get some, but it will work with any of the P-touch cassets and they make heat shrink versions.

Brady has their printers chipped so you CANNOT use generic consumables in it. Of course, it is for our own good, haha.

@@BradyNorthAmericaI've been loving it, biggest issue I have is the cut length. About 1/2" per label is waste so I have to string together a bunch of labels to keep waste to a minimum and cut them apart by hand.
Watch out for the heat shrink labels. They can come bad out of the box often. My work builds panels and goes through 20+ a month and have at least 3 or 4 bad. Otherwise brady printers are our go to.

Can I use brady labels in a non-brady label maker? Friend gave me 5 rolls of ribbon/labels brand new but I don't have a Brady and they're expensive. Are their labels ONLY compatible with brady or is there an alternative label maker I could use these for?? HELP!

Hmmm the thing relies on a lithium ion battery and a phone app. I wonder what the chances of it still being usable in 5 years is and without a subscription fee are.
They also have a free computer program for this now.
The main problem with Brady label printer is the high cost of their consumables. They are too expensive compared to other brands.
