I had Monsters Inc. on VHS when it first came out in the UK and I was 4 years old at that time, I still kept the UK VHS copy which also had the inside picture along with my other Disney-Pixar movies (Toy Story 1 and 2, A Bugs Life and Finding Nemo) until now because I have VHS tapes of my old childhood TV shows on CBBC and CITV and Rugrats VHS tapes now.

The How the Grinch Stole Christmas VHS has a green clamshell case to match the Grinch’s fur, the Monsters Inc VHS has a blue tape to match Sulley’s fur. Matching colors are awesome.

The features on the 2000 tape you have was not shown on the first vhs release from 1996. The 1996 vhs just had previews for other videos released at the time in 1996 then the movie and then after the film there was nothing else
if I were you I wouldn't have ripped the sticker (on the toy story vhs) in half, and I would have probably put the sticker back on the case or saved it, but that is just my opinion

In the UK, the older Disney cases for the tapes were like Monster’s Inc, but they were a different plastic. Disney also has a special vhs case.
