- Israel and the United States are seeking to prevent the International Criminal Court (ICC) from issuing arrest warrants against Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other Israeli officials, Israeli media reports suggest.
According to Walla, Netanyahu is “under unusual stress” over the prospect of an arrest warrant against him by the United Nations (UN) tribunal in The Hague, which would mark a major deterioration in Israel’s international status.

Despite not being a ICC member country, in 2002, the US created a law called “The Hague invasion act”. Although never enacted, this law does give the US legal authority to use military force to liberate any US citizen or citizen of countries/states allied with the US from the Hague. Most concerning, the law allows the US to grant impunity to US citizens or non-US citizens from allied countries to commit war crimes, crimes against humanity including genocide the most heinous of human crimes
In 2018, Bolton threatened to sanction and criminally prosecute any official of the ICC if any Israeli official were to be investigated for war crimes. In 2020, Netanyahu laughed at the ICC when they threatened to launch an investigation into his war crimes in Gaza.
Since the ICC is now formally issuing a warrant for the arrest of Netanyahu I am hoping the ICC team of prosecutors have figured out how to deal with any potential enactment of the Hague Invasion act. Biden cannot be trusted in his judgment- seems he will sacrifice his own wife for Israel.

Hamas hostage taking on Oct 7 was a response to the 6,000 Palestinian hostages held in administrative detention without trial by Israel. The resultant Israeli deaths were principally the result of the bodged Israeli attempt to prevent hostages being taken!
