I've been following you for a while now. Like these series. Very clear demonstration of skill and knowledge. Thank you for the in depth explenation of your plays.
really great format, wish you would have started doing this at least 3 years back or so. Would have been the best youtube complete wows howto repository.
Very nice play - over 200K per match shows how strong this build is. Also, thanks for opening my eyes to this ship; played the way you demonstrate it's a beast.
I like the focus on impacting the match with your tankiness and heals. Every player just thinks on the guns always and has 0 preservation when the trick is finding the position to use your ship and guns efectively without dying.
Sometimes in the map, when I am in a battleship and rarely get any island for a decent cover (like the cover you had in the video) ? & enemies have lot of island cover on the other side. What to do in that case? The opponents usually kill most of the allies in that case, me being outnumbered in Yamato type brute ships 🥲
Builds are discussed in my safari videos. The concealment on BBs is really important yes, you dont want to be shot at all the time and from any distance, start to finish of the game, just because you cant ever go dark. Also concealment gives you a small indication as to how close an enemy ship is the moment you are spotted. You could probably get away with not taking concealment on monti since its not known to be a fast brisk abusing BB. But in the end legmod for Monti is just bad, it is deminishing returns. You have Fire Prevention, 30sec DCP, an improved heal for fire and flood dmg and I play Improved repairparty readiness. So a few seconds of fire duration change nothing, being permanently spotted 1,4km further out does though. You essentially enter the battle spotted, and CVs and their fighters keep you 100% permalit and make you the easiest target.
With 19km Nevsky, I am either way too close, or too far to reach anything. With range mod, I am neither. That does not mean I am nearly half as effective as Gang is in his Nevsky, but evidently he has awareness skills I do not, and can make these decisions on the fly in the game which I cannot. Either way I cannot see why playing a range Nevksy is cringe, if you simply cannot make a 19 km work, and if you can at least break even on range.
Since watching this video, I have changed back to reload. It is clear that I fell into a trap with the long range. It is much harder to play reload, because you have to be particularly attentive to being overloaded. But Nevsky with minimal awareness becomes very effective. Thanks again for your video.
@@geekonomist Well what you explain here sounds like you move around too much, you just have to find decent spots to turn out and then stay reversed and rather reverse at the enemy. Obviously you cant really turn a lot in nevsky. Its very simple you go somewhere save, on the flank its super easy you just go towards border and turn out and then you wait. Enemy ignores you = reverse closer while angled. Enemy is heavy on the side and pushes = you slowly give ground and run. 19km should really be enough, especially with 12,6km conceal or whatever it has. Good players essentially all pick reload mod because you dont really impact the game at all above 19km unless its a no fire prevention BB and you got good firechance.

just found your channel, really nice to see a superuni explaining his thought process.

Sadly we are now in the endgame of wows :D

Yooo love these videos to help me get better ❤️❤️❤️❤️
That steel came looks nice too. Thank you for that. The only viability of camo these days is for streamers and YTers.
Cheers
from Wows to 7vswild insane xD
No dbl fire from US rockets on Yama at beginning.. star cv defs needs buff.
Nice commentary..
Cheers
Monti can be super fun in the right match
Can we know the build?
Why not run Leg mod? In other words, is conceal that important on a ship that is shooting on cooldown?

dude i watched this video, played montana after it and beat my alltime damage record (305k, normal battle) wtf haha, ty i guess
zao can turn, nevsky cannot. Zao has non laser balistics, Nevsky has lasers.
19 km Nevsky is impossible for me to play.
