- I decided to give myself a new Minecraft Challenge today... I wanted to try and build a portable house in Minecraft with redstone and the Create mod!

Check out Mumbo Jumbo, he has some moving house videos that work off redstone. They actually move across the map on their own, closer to Howl's moving castle.

Create has blocks that will plant for you, as well as blocks that break and place blocks in front of them given power, so you could totally include stuff like farms, anvils and beds with a little more creativity.
Imagine if you were gonna go to a adventure or something away from your base, then 1000 blocks away, you realized "damn, I forgot my house"
Who needs shulker boxes when you have a whole house
You could just use the /copy command so you don't need to use the Create mod. For example, you can make it when you place down a door, command blocks will paste the house where you placed the door, which means you can fix your water problem. And yes, i think it's possible on Bedrock too.

if its portable I definitely think that you should put the non portable things like the anvil and the bed in a shulker box and scary them round with you and when you need them just place them down :)

Just in case you don't know, this is a mod
Edit: a mod is a player made modification to the game. This one, the create mod, adds extra redstone blocks and items to move blocks around in weird ways. If you want to get a mod you can download one from online on java edition, or on Bedrock edition you have to pay minecoins for addons on the Minecraft marketplace

It's the same song, but the instruments indicate that it's Wind Waker's version.

mystycat, mobs/entities go into your direction, thats why the carpet duplicator kept falling, because of your position. btw they move only the slightest it's hard to notice at first

You could do this in vanilla theoretically by using invisible shulkers for collision and falling blocks for looks like in the void house vid and make it teleport with a Minecart but offset so it keeps it’s shape and it would follow the minecart on the track

this is a mod😢 but there is a way to make a portable house in vanilla without mods: you build a nether portal, you enter, you build a house and exit, break the portal, and rebuild it somewhere else and enter and you find your house! i used it so much (i play on nintendo switch but i think it works too on java)

Honestly. There needs to be a Minecraft MMO. Just a giant map and like 5000 players like in Planetside 2. Have server side work also shared between capable clients. Would make this idea so easy to do. So technically the more players there are the more server power can be created.

I'm pretty sure you can do this in vanilla minecraft but it requries alot of slimeblocks and sticky pistons

"Automatic" smelters are useless, its just clicking 2 things (one for the imput and one for the output) instead of one block containing an imput and output slot. Ok well I guess its useful if you only have 1 furnace and multiple things to smelt but I would more likely have 5 furnaces
