I play BF since BFBC2 all the way to BF2042 , I have some spare time and decided to post some gameplay videos, enjoy.

I've been playing a lot in tanks recently, way more than the Wildcat. I never realized just how hard the 60MM mortar hits heavy armor. I always assumed it was more an anti-infantry weapon but it does some good damage to vehicles as well. In fact I've been able to turn the tide in a number of close vehicle battles, those face to face ones, where the other vehicle(MAV, CAV or MBT) is trying to push you around, that we otherwise may have lost.

I just got the secondary vehicle weapon damage chart from Marzipan Dan, the 60MM mortar actually does the same damage to vehicles as the MPAT shells from the MBT or the Hammer rounds from the TOR....wow. That thing hits hard, just a very short distance.

Have you tried Delta Force yet...?? Like we thought the vehicles are pretty bad, they all have that feeling of driving the electric truck or tuktuk in 2042, where they just glide over the terrain and are nearly silent....there is no fun in driving them at all. Only thing they did right was the gunners machine guns, those rock, they absolutely shred, unlike 2042 where they are extremely weak. The main cannons are kind of weak in their vehicles, so I would just switch to the gunners seat and operate the mg.

No I didn't get a key 😐The real sad thing is everyone treat it like it's BF killer, why ? they sprinkled few same BF HUD elements, specialists and now it's the next BF and what's up with the abomination hit registration sound effect ?!
It's more CoD than BF.
Watched view videos about vehicles and they are very very bad in all aspects; sounds ,physics, gameplay, even visuals all bad.
All those BF big youtubers are just infantry (assault ) players, not even engineers 😁.

@@Raptor_i81 I actually uninstalled it after several hours, I could not get my keybindings the exact same as BF and I did not want to screw up my muscle memory I have already developed, so it was not worth playing for me. I don't see them completely overhauling the vehicle mechanics and that's all I really cared about.
The gun play is not too bad, seems like there is a higher ttk and more recoil, your not just laser beamed by an SMG @ 75m in a fraction of a second, like you are in BF2042. The character movements are not fluid though, they are awkward and clunky, I could not even jump on vehicles very well, if at all. In BF2042 I'm always on top vehicles with my repair torch, seamlessly repairing.....not in DF, I struggled to even jump on the back of a a tank at times depending on the terrain.
Plus, you don't even really need an engineer to repair anyway, the repair cooldown is very short.
