The wise words from ender,,,,, love that kid. I will never forget, when he was little, at bedtime Davey would get him giggling so much & it just makes you happy listening to that bedtime giggle from Ender….. he’s going to grow up to be a wonderful man!!
Look at April cooking for and taking care of her family!! It is so much better for the kids to have a home cooked meal than fast food, fast food is poison to the body!! I applaud you for always putting your family first that goes a long way in there lives!! Have a great and blessed day you guys!!!😊💟
Just love your family. April you are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING mom!! So excited for Nacho,he is truly enjoying living with your family. So proud of Susana for going for it,andEnder is such a sweet soul.
Give April a hand for all the love she shows in cooking healthy meals and making beautiful homemade pies👏🏻 The kids doing their zones without asking would be appreciated❤️
Could you explain a little more about the "zones" of chores your kids are doing? I feel like that's a great system so some more details would be great :) Love the vlog! Also really happy that Susi decided to go for cheer, I'm sure it will be an amazing experience for her and look forward to following her journey with it :)
My husband and i, for Christmas time, we have a spanish tortilla dinner with one of our best friends. And charcuterie board. Its our tradition, weve been doing it for around 8 years now. Its really yummy
Tortía Española is the bestttt! It’s another tricky one to get spices correct or it will be bland. Also we always use red potatoes in ours. We don’t do eggs for breakfast in Spain, only for lunch or dinner. For the paella, don’t be afraid to let it just sit there for hours while it cooks, you actually want the bottom to burn! It’s the best part. We just put the entire paella pan in the middle of the table and people eat directly out of the pan. May not be the best during covid times and your family may not all be able to reach it haha but that’s traditionally how it’s done :) 🥘
I did my study abroad in Spain and Spanish tortilla is my favorite thing! See if his mom can send oil or try to find a really good Spanish olive oil. It’s hard to replicate in the US.
Polenta is a great meal for a large family. You can buy it in rolls at the grocery store. Its basically corn meal with any topping you choose, you could even put piaha on it. Susi would probably know how they do it in Italy.
Nacho getting all the girls. I am sure that JJ asked early b/c she knew if she did not someone would beat her to asking Nacho. Nacho and Susie may not want to return to their countries and finish out school here. They could return to their countries in the summer and come back the USA in the fall.
🥘🍝 After you nail the paella you have to find out suzi’s favorite Italian dish and make that next!! Heck get the whole family involved to suggest dinners from all different countries, find recipes and try them!
The kids can research countries and find recipes, make a list of the ingredients they need and then tell the family about it on the night you make it. Check out Hannah Williams on YT meals from around the world.
Any Mexican restaurants I’m sure if you ask they can sell you the uncooked Chorizo by the pound - we always do a Russian dish that are these cabbage hamburger onion pillows and we usually ask around pizza restaurants for dough by the pound to make the fleishbruk dish 💕 🧚🏼♂️hopefully this helps or even gives you other ideas☺️
i dont know how well this will work, but for chorizo, could maybe try veggie/meatless chorizo. that is in pretty much every store. possibly worth a try?
EB is an artist and I think Frankie enjoyed being the canvas of her painting. Zade is a real cowboy. Do you dance country music in Utah? And the pies... Wow! ✨
@@waterwiz44 I didn't say it was a little or a lot, people's time is also worth money, that nail tech would have made at least that had April not "forgotten" about her appt. This is exactly why this system for booking beauty appts was derived. A person cannot fill a no show appointment last minute I'm positive April was made aware of this policy before hand Ave or didn't fit her lifestyle so she chose to go elsewhere
It’s strange how in the UK we eat tortilla and paella almost as much as the Spanish. I went to school with a Spanish boy and he taught us that every region has its own style of paella but the traditional one is snails and rabbit. With tortilla, remember you need more olive oil than you think as the oily potatoes are the main flavour. The paella should have a crust on the bottom. Also make sure you use real saffron, as there are many fakes out there.
Halloween is supposed to be scary. It is All Hallows’ Eve where our ancestors come from the next life to be with us again. In Ireland families go to the graveyard for a picnic to feel closer to those they have lost. Even travelling from all over the world.
I lived with a host family in Madrid for a semester during college and spanish tortillas were my favorite dinner! Highly recommend trying it out - fyi flipping it is an art
The way JJ asked was so cute!!

I love how the exchange students jump into American life, especially sports, like football and cheerleading which are not in their own country.
Whaaaat futbol is like the most typical game in spain
@@MartinaPoblete se refiere al futbol americano, es bastante diferente al futbol q jugamos aqui en españa xd

He definitely takes after papa Orgill🥺🥺
Shhh you just led out his secret, 😂
Maybe the Shumway girls or the Leroy girls can work with Suzi a little and help her get ready for try-outs?!
loving the cowboy Zade, How fun for Nacho and good luck Susi, spoiler alert. she makes it lol

I served my mission in Barcelona 30 years ago. I still crave paella and tortilla de patatas. Yum!
So good!n
Your pie looks like from a restaurant. Great job 🥧
I live in Utah also the chorizo is by the sour cream in Walmart by the uncooked tortillas there is a Spanish food cold area
Try looking in Mexican supermarket/store near you for chorizo. They should have them where they sell all the fresh meat.

How I wish I were part of your family.

Would that just so happen to be a Peach Pie or are yous having a Peach shortage LOL 🤣🤣🤣I Love Your Family
Hi April and davey it nice to meet you my name is Jose and I always wanted to meet you guys because you guys make the best videos ever
chorizo is kept by the hot dogs in a grocery store all stores should have it tho.
damn nacho getting all the girls
frankie noodle cute
You guys should really please do take the two new exchange students to Disney land and Disney world and six flags videos next before they go back home
Go to rancheritos market
The hard thing about the tortilla de patata is flipping it!!! Also, runny is best!!
Haha yes! Gotta shimmy it off onto a plate and then flip! It’s an art form 👌🏼
Who’s going to be Chris Farley the security guard at in Wayne’s world? ❤️🤣
lol good question
How many dances do they all have hahahahah
Lots!
Different tries on cooking Paella is what cooking is all about isn’t it? Your end result looks beautiful both times.
Chorizo, we get it from a local carniceria.
I’m from utah, I would try rancho market for the chorizo!!
Great idea!
Isn't saffron very expensive.
In America it is and it’s also hard to find
In uk it is too
April Walmart has frozen chorizo!!
Go to Rancho Market for real chorizo. And all the best ingredients.
Do you have two exchange students right now
Is Zade trying to impress Suzy? He's now telling Nacho what to do, even when Nacho said 'no'? I want to see Nacho's strong come back/response 😀
If there is a World Market close they sell real Chorizo there.
I think I've seen chorizzo in the hot dog section.
You can try a Mexican meat place
