Car of the week: 2013 Subaru Outback 2.5 CVT

We had a 2013 Subaru Outback come into the shop last week with a 194k miles and a slipping transmission and dash codes everywhere. There we so many codes on the dash, BMW would blush. We took it step by step and narrowed it down to a bad transmission control module, a tired valve body, cooked ABS sensors, a very dirty throttle body, MAF sensor and air filter. The oil plug was leaking and so was the plug for the transmission pan. We’re happy to say that all are now resolved and the Subaru has a new outlook and is ready for more Outback adventures!
