I remember at Mayhem fest i went to see Korn, and i was so excited that i would finally get to see the band that helped me through so many hard times. And i was ecstatic when they played. But it was so amazing when they started playing this song. JD dissapeared into the background, and the intro to this song was 3 times as long and the tention was building. The music started to heat up. and JD walked out on stage, and the entire stadium just screamed "ARE YOU READY?!" One of the best moments
Nice to see people that agree with me on that. Ray is good but he doesn't belong in KoRn. David had the funky beats, the soul, and he literally pounded THE LIVING SHIT out of his drums! He is probably one of the most hard hitting drummers out there, which is my favorite thing about him.
My opinion is that Korn in beginning was most similar to Nirvana than anyone, heavy pop, raw simple melodys, loud quiet loud, start stop, good voice, headbanger and downer...This band lead me to Nirvana, i was searching for something similar to this but more powerful and raw and Nirvana is best you can find. Top brand

Its cause of more distortion and bar chords I think. Now they're playing blind just on 7th string, without any bar chords, which is less powerful.
