LOSAR/HYOLMO SONG-SONAM LOSAR TASHI DELEK HYOLMO SONG

"CHEVA CHYI" is the starting day of Losar (New Year). This year Losar is started from "Cheva chyi of Bird year 2144" Losar according to Tibetan calendar. In Hyolmo culture losar start with raising up “DARCHYO” Traditional flag in front of House. After raise it they do “DARCHYO CHHEPA” Pray. Then they decorate “CHHEKYUNG” with “DENDEL, SHALGAR, BAABAR DERKYA, FRUITS AND FLOWERS” and do pray to “SANGYE” god by traditionally. After that the head of the family will bless to all family member and sharing the “TASHI DELEK” of LOSAR. AND then they enjoy their food (THNUGSE, BAABAR, KHAPSYE, SHALGAR, ETC…).
This is the main day where all family members were gathered and sharing happiness and joy. They will go to elders and relatives house with traditional gifts and celebrate and get blessing from them also.
The main propose to celebrate Losar is giving blessing and pray for all living being in this earth and also for peace and Happiness.
