This is my overview and setup guide for how to setup the Logitech G920 for American Truck Simulator.

I recently bought this wheel after some years playing ETS and ATS with controller and man, its fantastic, i couldnt go back to controller now, its som much enjoyable and fun, feels like whole new game and experience, worth every euro.

@@crazymessedupcollaboration8921 texture is almost the same. See when it wears. Leather like feel - vs genuine leather. Wording is important.
I love scs software, I've been with them since the early 18 wheels of steel days.

im a semi truck driver. The only bad thing about this is that 900 degrees is much too little for a true simulation of a truck wheel.
Trucks can rotate many revolutions before reaching it's end.
If youre practicing this for truck driving. Don't get used to the rotation of the wheel. it will confuse you.
You only apply the backing in first person mode with this one. That's the good stuff!

I prefer lsb and rsb for signals personally, I use the paddles for going between sets of gears
@Travis Scott’s cousin I use the paddles to go though 1-6 and 6-12 since I don't have a shift splitter. I use the same stick in the video through gears, just use paddles to split and sometimes hi low
I use my paddles for the blinkers and I use my shifter for the gears

When the price is the same, PC gamers should always get the G29. It has more buttons and RPM leds and can be configured in Logitech Gaming Software app just like the G920. Only Xbox users should buy G920. Of course, used G27 would be the best deal if you can find one online.

I like how in the UK it costs £150 ~($195) and in the US it costs $399 (~£310)

U getting rich man. I remember while ago on one of your streams while playing ETS you said you didnt have money for logitech G27 (Cheaper than new ones). Now you are rolling with Oculous and got the steering wheel along with other stuff. Im happy for u m8.
I hate how the shifter is sold seperately and without buttons now, im gonna hold onto my G27 as long as possible.

Durcaz The G29 as more button than the G27 + Shifter so I don't know what is upsetting you
Sorry for late reply, Some buttons are needed on the shifter for some games. For example, truck sims need a button in front of the h shifter to switch gear sets because trucks have 12+ gears.
Also, it just felt nice to have some buttons off to the side for controlling menu's.
You can also buy g29 or g920 and use g27 shifter with it

U can fix the brake issue by taking the pedal case off, get to the part where it shows the cylinders connecting the pedals, and there is a damper on the brake pedal part. It is rubber. Take it out and it will be like 50% easier to press the brake

Is there a response difference between this and PS4 version? I got a PS4 so the smart decision would be to get the PS4 version, just wondering if it has a response difference..
unless you get the one for the xbox, i think it's a much better idea to get a g27. i'm pretty sure the new one just costs more and has the same internals.
Can you still drive a truck with 18-speed transmission fast and easy with this Logitech G920 without the truck Shifter Knob that will be bought separately?

Wow Both the G920 and the G29 Look Amazing. Might have to save up for those. Been Wanting a Steering Wheel, Pedal and Shifter combo for a while now but the pricing has always been a issue.
Pricing it super low at 250 usd compare to the 400 that it is usually at. Now is a time to buy

Great video will this work with and Xbox series x I downloaded this game American truck simulator for Xbox series but I’m having trouble with the control pad that won’t link to it. Would this be a better option? What kind of set up do you have? I’m thinking about going to PC route. What would you suggest can you get mods for these games like GTA five snow runner? How did everything go 7 years later? I am just now getting the G29 at about $180 brand new as a first wheel for ATS. (Can't believe 7 years later we still haven't made it to Wisconsin as a State where I am from lol)

No. You can use the simple automatic option in game.
My American truck sim works with the steering wheel but I have to let off the gas to gain speed anyone know why

If you dont want to mess with anything, is this wheel a plug and play?
Not really, you need the logitech profiler and set up the wheel rotation in that program, then you need to set up all the buttons and pedals in the ETS2 options. But that's all, it's not too technical and only needs to be done once.

Solid starter wheel good value when on sale at 150 to 250 us . Not really worth it when at full price at 399 as u can get a full fanatic setup for 599 witch is a lot stronger then this wheel and has a large upgrade path
Can you just plug the USB in to your computer and then it comes up with g29 steering wheel and shifter
oh yeah the cables they will fit nicely together with all the other cables i have on my desk its a complete mess already but really wanna buy this wheel for my trucking gaming and ofc other race games
If anyone gets this g920 or the g29 I would recommend buying the g27 shifter which plugs in the same but it has some more buttons on the shifter for more customization

I dont get why everyone says the g920 sucks, i have one it works great, this video proves it works great, it works great on games people say it doesnt work on, like dirt 4, its just a good wheel, i dont see whats so bad about it
love the video! i have the wheel, and was on Euro Truck Sim (im getting ATS today, and this was before), but i was on ETS, and no matter what i set the FF level to, the wheel shook a ton when lining up. there was no smooth movement. also, there is either extreme difficulty turning, even with low FF, or no FF which did result in smooth turning. also, on Forza Horizon 2 on Xbox one, my wheel sometimes skips a "beat", almost like the wheel is turning too fast for the belt to keep up. do yout know why this is, and do you think somethings wrong with the wheel? please let me know, thanks!
This wheel is pretty much garbage in terms of Quality, the internals are stock components from a G27 so nothing new, might have as well just dropped 100$ more for a TX or T300RS wheel.

HunterCivilianPlays But so does the G920... I would consider having a report on how much money Logitech vs Thrustmaster have lost in the process of broken units. I would say Thrustmaster smells like the most likely, but I would love to see Logitech take a hit too.

I believe it was VR headsets. They're awesome for flight and truck sims like this.

Returned it. The force feedback is terrible. I remember having a wheel back in 2003 that had the same force feedback as this one does, if not better.
What I do for more realistic gameplay is angle the wheel so it's like an actually semi truck..

just got the G920 for Christmas and it won't work. I load the game and it's wide open. truck won't stay running. no breaks and wheel is way off. did just what you showed but something is off. can anyone help?

That's an IKEA table. I have the same one. 72" I need rubber stoppers on the bottom of that G920. I get all reckless and RIP the wheel right off that swedish table. 👍 PS. I know this is 3 years old. So its as easy as plug in start up and application and register the buttons and play?
On Xbox one all you have to do is plug it up but for the pc yes you have to map the buttons
