This is an amazing little series. I cannot wait to get into it. I think this is exactly what i need. My taichi conditioning is not getting into those hip flexors enough.
This would be great except my hip flexor needs strengthening due to a misdiagnosed torn meniscus .. cannot do this at all .. anything for existing knee , flexor , lower back injury ?

For example, owl gazes at the moon or cow gazed back at the moon. The actual name is looking back to reduce 5 labors and 7 injuries, meaning the 5 stress induced conditions and 7 injuries caused by daily routine. 五劳七伤往後瞧
I cant do the last part where you slowly go down without falling backwards unless I take the heels of the ground and step on my toes. I dont know if this is normal
Mr Meeseeks thats ok, that is normal. Just practice with the intent to improve little by little everyday. Qigong and neigong is the opposite of kung fu, it is the slow and steady approach. Most important thing is to elongate, go slow, breath through your abdomen, relax, and practice everyday.
