We must be observent of the Second Commandment. The second commandment makes clear that we are to worship God in Spirit and Truth only. This commandment prohibites the use of anything that represents God or could easily become an object of worship . Christ inspired the apostle Paul to write, " Does not even nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a dishonor to him?" ( 1 Corinthians 11:14 ). If we are to hold any image of what Christ looks like, we can and should refer to " Revelation 1 : 14-16. His head and his hair were white as white wool , white as snow , his eyes were like a flame of fire, his feet were like burnished bronze, refined as in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of many waters, in his right hand he held seven stars, from his mouth issued a sharp two - edged sword, and his face was like the sun shinning in full strength. My message here is that rather than rely on what the notorious Fake News " The Daily Mail " is trying to assert, we should rely upon the word of God as written. God expressivly commanded that we ought not try to figure out what Jesus looked like. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
