Another gorgeous piece! When I first saw you take out the orange acrylic paint I was skeptical and then BAM! - it was perfect for a 'rust' look. Loved watching you transform a $3 box into a piece of art. Thanks for the video.
Haha, thanks! So glad you enjoyed it! Ya, the orange paint is something I used on an older tutorial where I actually rusted some pieces but I wanted more of a hit of colour, and the orange paint was just the thing! 😊

Wow, I love it, absolutely gorgeous, thanks for sharing...just an fyi on the side ; You should tell people to follow the cooking instructions on the package for their particular clay instead of giving time & temp for yours...if they are using something different, they’ll blame it on you when something doesn’t work out...experience dictated that 😆♥️✌️

Your work is absolutely gorgeous and I am so glad I have discovered your videos. I just wanted to ask. Do you not use some sort of varnish or spray glue over your mixed media items? I do steampunk mixed media on tins but cannot find anything that holds it all down and any scratches to the tin simply lift off the paint. It is very frustrating. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Gabrielle, I have been using some of your instructions to do Steam Punk boxes etc. I spray it with Matt acrylic when done so it won't come off or smudge. Do you do this too? Or do your paints you use, all of them, Harden good enough? Thank you so much for having your site! Mallen
