    I love the oils and other things used in this bar but I’m not sure about the egg yolk
    Would it not cause bacteria to grow in your soap

    • @Elvoalven
      @Elvoalven 5 лет назад +9

      Silvana Moise Soap is alkaline, meaning it has a very high pH and bacteria can’t grow in an alkaline environment like that. That’s why soap is self-preserving. That’s also why we can add things like egg yolk, botanicals or even actual fruit to soap and it will still be okay to use. You will need to use an acid rinse afterwards however, to neutralise the pH of your hair. :)

      The egg is saponified along with the rest, don’t worry. It’s great in soap.🌼

    This is amazing can you please tell me how you infused the flaxseed with the oil? I want to make a liquid soap with an infused flaxseed for my Neice whom suffers from psoriasis.

      1 ounce is 28.3 grams A tablespoon is 15 grams. The goats milk doesn’t have to be exact neither does the clay. Just multiple the ounces by 28.3 for grams. To be safe run it though a soap calculator again. I use grams all the time and I live in the United States. We(United States) were supposed to convert to grams in the 1990s but never did. I don’t know what happened but I work in the science industry and we always use metric. It makes better sense and is more accurate.

    The additives look more like tablespoons than teaspoons. In recipes, Tablespoons are abbreviated as: T. whereas teaspoons: tsp.

    This is soap, not shampoo. Soap and hair are not meant for each other. I tried a “shampoo “ bar once and my hair went like BRICK, it was horrible never again
